Our Operations The Authorization Operations division has nearly 400 employees and consists of several units, including the Unit for Clinical Trials and Licenses. We are 46 colleagues divided into three groups whose main task is to make decisions on authorizations for clinical drug trials and license applications for medicines not approved in Sweden. Akademiska Laboratory is responsible for medical diagnostics, consultation, research, development, treatment, and education. The Transfusion Medicine Department is responsible for ensuring the blood supply in the Uppsala region and distributing the right blood to the right patient. Through blood collection at Akademiska Hospital and via our mobile blood bank and blood donation trailer at multiple collection sites in the region and neighboring regions, we maintain the blood supply. Transfusion medicine also handles the production of blood components and patient treatments using apheresis techniques. We are also Sweden's reference blood center and ensure that transfers between our donor registries nationally function as intended. Your Assignment In transfusion medicine, you are responsible for our integrations between our main data system ProSang and our various instruments. You also oversee integrations from ProSang to other data systems. This occurs in collaboration with the hospital's IT department and object specialists in the department. As an engineer, you are also responsible for parts of our instruments. This includes verifying and validating in consultation with the process manager and medical director. You also maintain contact with companies, IT, operations, and Medical Technology to ensure everything functions as it should. Responsibilities Your assignment is to provide qualified HR support to deans/managers in different parts of the organization, based on operational needs and an employer perspective. You will handle, investigate, coordinate, drive, and follow up matters across the entire HR field. It is therefore important that you stay updated on applicable laws, regulations, ordinances, collective agreements, processes, and procedures. Your responsibilities also include providing advice and support in international recruitment and onboarding as well as contacts with other government agencies. This may involve questions concerning employment terms, insurance, taxes, work and residence permits, and associated regulations. You will also participate in the HR function's ongoing development work and digital transformation. Work is conducted in close collaboration with colleagues in the departments' administrative teams, and a few days per week you also have your workplace in the operations, close to the managers and employees you support. You are often responsible for several parallel assignments of both short- and long-term nature, adapted to operational needs. To thrive in this role, you need to appreciate variety and to work in a consultative manner in close collaboration with managers. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a relevant academic degree in HR or equivalent education that the employer considers equivalent. You also have some years of documented and current experience with broad and independent HR work. You have good knowledge of employment law and documented experience applying relevant laws, regulations, and collective agreements. You have good experience providing advice and consultative support to managers across the entire HR field. You have very good ability to express yourself well in speech and writing in both Swedish and English, and you feel confident presenting to larger groups. You have very good digital competence, are an experienced user of various IT systems and digital tools. Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
