Svartbäckens Primary Care Center Our 1,800 employees work with accessible healthcare and health services in Uppsala County. We offer a broad range of services within primary care. Our patients visit us at Region Uppsala's own primary care centers or within rehabilitation services, and we provide advice via telephone through 1177. Education, research, and development are important to us as we adapt our services based on residents' needs. We already offer mobile teams, video visits, and smart e-services. We are now recruiting a licensed physician for placement at Svartbäckens Primary Care Center! In addition to your individual development plan, we provide regular training days for professional development. This means you'll be part of a large network with knowledgeable colleagues. Your Assignment You will work closely with all professionals at the primary care center. Your tasks will include reception work with varying assignments as well as work at nursing homes and child health clinics. As a licensed physician within Region Uppsala, your role includes serving at our urgent care clinics and standby reception. Following any subsequent specialist training, you will receive mentoring, reading time each week, specialist seminars, and courses. Your main position will be at the primary care center that employs you while supplementary training takes place at Akademiska Hospital, Enköping Hospital, private units, and partly at other county councils if desired. The training content is planned individually in consultation with your mentor and training director. Your Qualifications We are looking for someone with Swedish medical licensure who has a genuine interest in developing within general medicine. You possess strong ability to communicate in Swedish verbally and in writing, have solid knowledge of the Swedish healthcare system, and see good patient interactions as one of your most important tools in patient encounters. Furthermore, you have a desire to develop the organization together with other staff at the primary care center. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Our Organization Svartbäckens Primary Care Center is part of the Accessible Health and Care division in Region Uppsala and is one of the county's largest primary care centers with just under 18,900 registered patients. We are centrally located in Uppsala with approximately 86 employees representing all professional disciplines within the primary care center's mandate. Our patients range from young to elderly, living in the area or surrounding countryside, which makes our work both varied and rewarding.
