You'll become a key player in our data cleansing work for the article master data object. About the Role As a senior structural analysis engineer, you will work on technically complex projects where the focus is on analysis, simulation, and verification of structures and mechanical systems. The assignments vary depending on your experience, specialized expertise, and ambition, but typically include strength calculations, FEM analysis, model development, result evaluation, and technical recommendations to design and development teams. You will work on assignments where high demands are placed on quality, accuracy, and technical understanding. Your Background We are looking for someone with an academic degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, engineering physics, or equivalent, and who has at least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEM-based calculation work. You are accustomed to working independently, understand the role of analysis in the development chain, and can translate theory into practical value in complex project environments. You have likely worked with structural strength, dynamics, vibrations, fatigue, or similar issues and feel confident building, conducting, and interpreting analyses. You thrive in technical environments where expertise is highly valued and where you can contribute with both specialized knowledge and judgment. Requirements Civil engineering or engineering degree in a relevant technical field At least 5 years of experience in structural analysis and FEM Good understanding of strength of materials and mechanics Experience working in technically advanced development projects Ability to work independently and take technical responsibility Good communication skills Fluent professional Swedish and/or English in speech and writing Merits Experience from the defense industry, automotive industry, aerospace, or other advanced industry Experience with tools such as Ansys, Abaqus, Nastran, HyperMesh, LS-DYNA, or similar Knowledge in dynamics, vibrations, fatigue, crash, composites, or nonlinear analysis Programming experience in Python or Matlab Experience in consulting roles or customer-facing technical work Experience working in a safety-classified or regulatory environment What We Offer We offer you the opportunity to work on qualified assignments in technically strong environments where your expertise is at the center.
