Load Haul Dump (LHD) Vehicle Mechanic

Your role As an LHD vehicle mechanic, you work with maintenance, service, troubleshooting, and repair of load haul dump vehicles used in Kiruna Mine's underground production. The role involves significant individual responsibility where work is planned in collaboration with shift planners. You work primarily independently in the workshop, but also collaborate with colleagues from other shifts and external contractors when the work requires it. In this role, you will, among other things: Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on LHD vehicles Troubleshoot and repair vehicle, electrical, steering, and hydraulic systems Carry out service according to established routines and instructions Participate in safe work planning and risk assessments Collaborate with internal and external parties on major projects Contribute to development and improvement of work methods, safety, and accessibility You will be an important part of the operation where your work contributes to high operational reliability, safe work environments, and efficient production. About the role As a Rental Sales Agent, you are the hub of our rental operations. You are responsible for renting out our vehicles to customers over the counter, by phone, and via email, with a strong focus on sales and upselling. You are driven to reach targets, both as part of the team and individually. The role requires you to be organized and able to plan ahead. The right customer must get the right vehicle and the fleet must be used as efficiently as possible. You also ensure that vehicles are in the right place at the right time and always clean and well-maintained. Vehicle preparation is part of the job; physical work occurs to the same extent as administrative office work. Your main responsibilities • Rent out vehicles and write rental agreements over the counter, by phone, and via email • Work actively with sales and upselling of products and additional services based on customer needs • Plan the fleet so the right customer gets the right vehicle and occupancy is as efficient as possible • Ensure vehicles are in the right place at the right time • Prepare vehicles for rental, washing, cleaning, and detailing • Carefully inspect vehicles for damage upon return • Monitor that service intervals are followed, vehicles are inspected, and have the right tires for the season • Handle administrative tasks, daily routines, and checklists Who we are looking for We are looking for someone who is goal-oriented and energized by sales and top-class service.
