Samhällsomvandlingen's mission is to ensure land availability in good time to secure LKAB's mining operations and growth plans. This means that approximately two-thirds of Kiruna's population, corresponding to 12,000 people, will gradually be relocated. In total, approximately 5,400 residential units and 800,000 square meters of residential and commercial space will be replaced as part of the societal transformation. Your Role As a construction manager, you will ensure the coordination and leadership of our construction and infrastructure projects on site together with hired contractors. You will work together with a project team led by a project manager where mutual support and assistance help us drive the projects forward. You will largely direct your own work and prioritize how your days look based on ongoing activities in the project. The construction manager's main work tasks include: Participating in planning and coordination of construction work within the project's framework regarding time, function, and budget Ensuring that occupational health and safety work is carried out in accordance with applicable laws and requirements throughout the project Convening and leading meetings specific to the construction and infrastructure project, such as construction meetings, coordination meetings, and work meetings Being the project's contact person toward contractors in construction and infrastructure projects What You Bring We are looking for a responsible and safety-focused construction manager who enjoys working in a team. We also see that you have good communication skills where you enjoy creating and maintaining relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. At least upper secondary education, preferably in construction and infrastructure, but not required Experience working with construction and infrastructure projects Good language skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Experience chairing meetings and managing contractors Driver's license (Category B) Meritorious: Knowledge of contract law Experience from leadership positions Education BAS-P/BAS-U Warmly welcome to apply!
