We are the agency responsible for correctional facilities, probation services, remand prisons, and inmate transportation. Position Description The Learning Center is a national organization where the Adult Education Section provides education for clients of the Swedish Prison and Probation Service. Each correctional facility in the country and certain remand prisons have one or more learning centers where teachers provide instruction at basic and upper secondary levels, equivalent to municipal adult education, as well as Swedish language education for immigrants. Adult education is nationally coordinated and organized so that studies function regardless of which facility a client is assigned to and even if they are transferred during their studies.
