Your responsibilities
The position is located at the prosecution office in Uppsala. As a case handler, you will experience a busy day with varying tasks.
You work independently but also together in a group to ensure the administrative work runs smoothly. Customer service is a large part of your daily work, both internally and externally.
Your responsibilities include:
providing prosecutors with administrative support, such as work in the crime case registry, handling archiving, and performing general office tasks
reviewing, assessing, and registering incoming cases
serving as the point of contact in many contexts, thereby providing good service to both the public and other agencies, primarily via phone and email
performing tasks assigned by the administrative manager, such as certain case preparation.
The work is event-driven, and urgent matters can arrive quickly, requiring you to make fast decisions and to assess what is truly urgent and what is not.
Your qualities and qualifications
We are looking for someone who
has a high school diploma or other education that the employer considers equivalent
has current and relevant skills corresponding to several years of well-documented work with administrative tasks
has current and relevant experience working in an IT environment and with digital tools in administration, telephony, meetings, etc.
has good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

About the employment
The position is a permanent employment with a six-month probationary period.
Before an offer of employment is made, the Prosecutor Authority may conduct a register check in the suspicion register and the criminal record register. The register check is conducted on the final candidate.
Tests may be used in the recruitment process.
