AT at Akademiska sjukhuset Our AT is conducted at Akademiska sjukhuset and within primary care throughout Uppsala County. We are now announcing eleven AT-blocks for 18 months of service. We are looking for you who are interested in working clinically at a university hospital and also gaining experience in primary care. The block includes: • Internal medicine specialties 4.5 months • Surgical specialties 4.5 months • Psychiatry 3 months • General medicine 6 months Your qualifications You must hold a medical degree at the time of employment. Meritorious qualifications Up to six months of clinical experience as a locum doctor is meritorious in this recruitment. Previous experience of working in Region Uppsala is meritorious. Other relevant experience in healthcare may also be considered meritorious. Teaching experience and/or research experience is meritorious. It is possible to apply for both standard AT and AT for researchers or pedagogical AT. Your competence As a person, you are thorough and well-organized. You are also flexible, have good collaboration skills and sound judgment. We recruit for the future and would like to see that you wish to continue developing within Region Uppsala after your AT. Your application should include: • Medical degree, if you have completed your medical education; otherwise it must be submitted to the AT unit before an employment contract can be issued • CV showing your education and experience • Three references • Service certificate documenting your previous experience. Other certificates may be accepted provided they contain period (year-month-day – yyyy-mm-dd) and scope and are signed • Certificate documenting any teaching experience or research experience • If you have a foreign medical degree, you must submit a decision from the National Board of Health and Welfare (Socialstyrelsen) regarding general practice service, AT. A certificate of Swedish language skills equivalent to Swedish C1/Swedish as a second language 3 must also be attached Any job offer will be made following a combined assessment of formal qualifications and interviews.
