Hourly Substitute Caregiver for Woman in Åmål
We are now seeking an additional hourly substitute caregiver for our client in Åmål to work as needed. Who am I? I am a 40-year-old woman living in Åmål. My functional variation means I have personal assistance during the day. I use a wheelchair and have a weakened immune system. Right now I need an extra substitute for my wonderful assistant team! As an assistant, you will help me with daily activities that I cannot manage on my own. We will spend a lot of time outdoors with my dog regardless of weather. Who are you? As an assistant, you need to be thorough, responsible, attentive, and positive. I prefer if you are active, and if you have an interest in dogs, that's definitely a bonus! But most importantly, we need to get along well. I feel most comfortable with women since there are situations involving personal care. You need to be flexible regarding working hours because the assistant team arranges coverage if someone gets sick or takes time off. We support each other! It is a requirement that you have a Class B driver's license for manual transmission and feel comfortable driving my car as part of your duties. You should also not be allergic to dogs. About the position: The position is initially an hourly employment for work as needed. Working hours are scheduled for 07:00–11:45 or 15:00–19:30 Monday through Sunday. Exceptions to these hours may occur for activities and visits to other locations. Start date: Immediate; we conduct ongoing recruitment. Passal Assistans offers rewarding and varied work with good employment terms, training, and wellness benefits. Fixed hourly rate by agreement and other compensation according to collective agreement. You will also receive good support and contact with a responsible coordinator. At the interview, you need to present an extract from the criminal record register and documentation proving your right to work in Sweden (passport, national ID, or identity certificate with driver's license). If you are not a citizen of Sweden, EU, EEA, or Switzerland, a work permit or permanent residence permit is required. We are legally obligated to verify this before employment. We are seeking a research assistant for the research project Local Foreign Policy? Municipalities, Regions and Civil Society Mobilization Around Mass Violence, led by Professor Camilla Orjuela and financed by the Riksbank's Jubilee Fund. The position is time-limited and part-time. About the Project The research project examines municipalities and regions as arenas for foreign policy issues. Foreign policy is normally regarded as a matter for actors at the national level. However, in today's globalized world and multicultural societies, such issues also appear on the agendas of municipalities and regions. The project takes a global perspective and focuses on foreign policy issues concerning cities and regions' positions on nuclear weapons, as well as recognition of genocide and the establishment of genocide memorials on municipal land. What conflicts arise when citizens and local politicians engage in issues that concern them but are simultaneously classified as foreign policy? And how can municipalities, states, and civil society actors manage the increasingly blurred boundaries between local, domestic, and foreign policy? Responsibilities As a research assistant, you will primarily work on research concerning the recognition of genocide at regional and local levels. Your tasks will include contributing to a quantitative study by searching, verifying, and analyzing information, as well as presenting results. Qualitative research will also be included, such as in-depth studies of specific genocide recognition processes. Other tasks related to research and administration may also occur. The work will be performed independently, but in close collaboration with research leader Camilla Orjuela. Qualifications We require that you have a relevant master's degree, for example in global studies, peace and development studies, human rights, international relations, or political science. The position requires that you have documented experience with qualitative social science research methods. You must be able to speak and write English well. Good knowledge of additional languages relevant to the project is an asset, as is experience in searching for information in different languages. We are particularly looking for someone with in-depth knowledge of and interest in genocide recognition, civil society mobilization, foreign policy, and issues concerning the boundaries between municipalities', regions', and states' responsibilities in Sweden as well as internationally. It is important that you can work independently, have good organizational ability, and can take responsibility and take own initiative. You need to be a careful, structured, and creative person with social competence and flexibility in performing the work. The work is performed on site at the Department of Global Studies. Employment The position is a fixed-term appointment for 10 months with a workload of 50%. Placement at the Department of Global Studies. Start date January 7 or by agreement. HR Consultant in Gothenburg at Zoey
We're growing in Gothenburg – do you want to grow with us? 💜 Zoey is expanding and we're looking for more HR consultants in Gothenburg! We're seeking someone who is confident in HR, enjoys change, and loves stepping into new organizations, meeting new people, and quickly starting to make a difference. With us, you'll get the variety and development that comes with consulting life. You'll have a team to belong to. Because even though our consultants work with different clients, it should never feel like you're consulting completely on your own. What will you be doing? We know you'll work with different things, and that's what's wonderful about the consultant role. One assignment might involve supporting managers and organizations with everyday HR questions. Another might involve change management, organizational development, labor law, culture, competence, or larger HR projects. You might step in as an HR Business Partner, HR Manager, or HR Specialist – depending on your experience and what our clients need. What we have in common is that we want to work close to the business, the people, and what's actually happening in the organization. Who do we think you are? You have several years of experience in qualified HR work and are used to independently driving matters forward. You're confident in dialogue with managers and employees and enjoy working close to the business, where HR is part of the bottom line. You're curious, unpretentious, and solution-oriented, with the ability to understand different organizations' needs and translate them into concrete HR support. You build trust, dare to challenge when needed, and believe work gets better when we share knowledge and solve things together. And you're curious about what's coming next. AI is already changing how we work, organize ourselves, and develop competence, and at Zoey we see it as a natural and important part of HR's future. You absolutely don't need to be an AI expert, but we hope that, like us, you want to explore, test, and learn how technology can help us create even better HR & TA value for our clients. For us, HR's future is about combining business, people, and technology, and we do it with both curiosity and common sense. Why Zoey? Because we believe consulting can be both developing and a lot of fun. At Zoey you'll get exciting assignments with our clients while becoming an important part of our growing Gothenburg team. Even though we spend a lot of time with our clients, we create many reasons to meet up. We have Friday Fun every Friday, where we gather each Friday just for fun – an activity with the simple purpose of having a good time together. At our monthly meetings we share what's happening at Zoey and with our clients, and at our lunch sessions we take a broader look at what's happening in HR & TA and develop our competence together. It's an important part of Zoey for us. We believe we become better consultants when we stay curious, share what we know, and learn from each other. For us, Joy is a real core value. We think that says quite a lot about the kind of workplace we want to create 😊 "I have colleagues who know me, understand what I'm good at, and who I continue to develop together with, even when we spend our workdays in different places. That's probably what I appreciate most about being a consultant at Zoey. Getting the variety, development, and all the new contexts that consulting brings, without having to give up a strong sense of belonging" – Malin Nyberg at Zoey 💜 Curious? Wonderful! Send in your CV or LinkedIn profile, or reach out to Felicia at 073 322 25 08 or [email protected] if you want to know more! We're growing in Gothenburg and hope you want to be part of the journey 💜 When people grow, organizations grow.
