Räddningstjänsten Storgöteborg is now seeking an engaged and solution-oriented IT technician for our Technical Infrastructure unit. With us, you will have a broad and varied role where you work with operations, support, development, and management of business-critical IT environments. About the role As an IT technician, you are responsible for the daily operations and support of our IT environment. The work includes both client management and server administration and system maintenance. You work closely with the business and contribute to developing, improving, and ensuring stable and secure IT delivery. Your responsibilities include: • Operations, maintenance, and troubleshooting of IT systems and technical infrastructure. • Installation, configuration, and management of clients, servers, and peripherals. • Administration of Microsoft environments, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. • Management of user accounts, permissions, and identity management. • Technical support to business users. • Backup, recovery, and IT security work. • Documentation of systems, routines, and processes. • Participation in projects, change management, and implementation of new technical solutions. • Collaboration with suppliers and other internal functions. The position includes on-call duties, and travel within the federation may occur. Who are you? Qualifications We are looking for someone who has: • Higher education in IT or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent. • Several years of experience with IT operations, technical support, and IT environment management. • Experience with Microsoft Server, client platforms, Active Directory, and Microsoft 365. • Good knowledge of installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of client and server environments. • Experience with IT security, backup, and permission management. • Excellent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. • B-class driving license. Other information Employment with Räddningstjänsten Storgöteborg may involve placement in a security classification. Security clearance with background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before an employment decision is made. Employment includes war placement within Räddningstjänsten Storgöteborg with general military service obligations, which means you are obliged to serve during heightened alert or war.
