More about our benefits can be found at https://www.gu.se/jobba-hos-goteborgs-universitet/anstallningsformaner Responsibilities As a coordinator, you will work with a particular focus on developing contacts between schools and the university and promoting collaboration with the surrounding community. You will support the preparation of collaboration, innovation, and internationalization by project managing activities and serving as an administrator. You are responsible for preparing meeting notices, coordinating the practical implementation of meetings, and writing and distributing meeting minutes. You will also provide administrative support and participate in the implementation of various collaborative initiatives. As a coordinator, you are also responsible for the faculty's shared school contacts. You will lead the faculty's school contact group and serve as project manager for the activities "Window to Natural Science and IT" and "The Young Researchers Exhibition" for upper secondary school students. You are also responsible for the faculty's student ambassadors and coordinate our participation in student recruitment fairs. Within the Faculty Office, there are additional colleagues with whom you will collaborate on these tasks, including a student employee. Qualifications The position requires that you have a university degree in natural science, education, or another field relevant to the position. You have experience leading and coordinating activities or projects, preferably directed toward a younger target audience. We also want you to have at least three years of experience in administrative work. Experience working in the natural science sector is a merit. We are looking for a goal-oriented person with initiative and good collaboration skills. You are skilled at communication and have strong ability to express yourself in speech and writing in Swedish and English. The coordinator will independently plan, drive, and implement projects, so the person we are looking for must be self-directed. Employment The position is a full-time temporary position at the Faculty Office for Science and Engineering for the period 2026-11-16 – 2027-08-31, with the possibility of extension.
