Sales Operations Associate
We are looking for a Sales Operations Associate to join our commercial team in a newly created role. The role is built around two connected goals: growing repeat revenue from CELLINK's existing customer base through consumables, bioinks, and service/warranty contracts, and supporting pipeline generation for new instrument sales. You will work in close functional coordination with the Sales team, Marketing, Customer Support, and Product Management. Are you a data-driven, self-sufficient operator, capable of building and running a book of business independently while working closely with Sales, Marketing, and Customer Support? Then you might be our fit. Responsibilities Install Base & Recurring Revenue Growth. Support the development of a structured install base and devise a go-to-market plan to drive consumable and bioink revenue. Own recurring revenue performance — consumables, bioinks, and service/warranty contracts. Proactively drive renewals ahead of contract and warranty expiration and identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts. Build ongoing account engagement cadences (calls, business reviews, check-ins) that keep CELLINK front-of-mind between instrument purchases. Account Segmentation & Prioritization. Segment and prioritize the account base using usage data, purchase history, contract/renewal dates, and account growth potential. Pipeline Generation Support for Instrument Sales. Support broader pipeline generation activity — outbound outreach, campaign follow-up, lead qualification — in partnership with Marketing and Sales. Data & CRM Ownership. Maintain accurate, current account and opportunity data in the CRM to support forecasting and reporting. Cross-functional Collaboration. Act as the connective link between Customer Support, Marketing, Sales, and Finance for anything touching an existing account's ongoing relationship with CELLINK. KPI & Performance Reporting. Establish and track a KPI framework for the role: renewal rate, consumables/bioink revenue growth, share of wallet, pipeline sourced/supported for instrument sales, and account health. Self-Directed Territory Management. Operate with a high degree of autonomy: build, execute, and adjust an account plan without requiring day-to-day direction. Requirements Qualifications and Work Experience Relevant education or experience in account management, customer success, inside sales, or a related commercial role, ideally within medtech, life sciences, laboratory equipment, or another capital-equipment/consumables business model. Experience supporting or partnering with a capital equipment/instrument sales team, with an understanding of how account growth and new-logo pipeline connect. Knowledge and Skills Comfortable working with data and CRM systems to prioritize accounts and make decisions; able to build simple account-scoring or segmentation logic. Life sciences, bioprinting, or laboratory research background a plus, but not required. Professional proficiency in English. Personal Competencies/Soft Skills Highly self-sufficient — able to build a plan and operate independently, with good judgment on when to escalate, in a still-maturing, newly formed team. Strong communication and relationship-management skills, comfortable owning a portfolio of accounts end-to-end. Practical Conditions Occasional travel may be required.
