About the job We now have an opportunity for you to join our dedicated team within Supported Housing for Women and Families. The work group consists of nine treatment assistants, one methodology supervisor, and one unit manager. We operate from a pleasant and accessible office near Gamlestadstorgets transit hub. We provide supported housing for women and families with children. Those living with us have support needs due to experiences of violence, mental health issues, or previous substance abuse problems. As part of our team, you will work together with our service users on assignment from the Social Services Department of the City of Gothenburg. We offer our service users individualized support tailored to each person's needs. The majority of the work is carried out in the service users' home environments. With your ability for independence and planning, you will be a key person who plans, implements, and follows up on interventions in a responsible manner. As a contact person, you will work with service users to create an implementation plan, which is continuously monitored in our Treserva documentation system. You will provide support to our service users in everything from contacts with authorities and healthcare to managing practical matters such as apartment maintenance and rent payments. We believe in close collaboration with social workers and property managers to create a path forward for the service user. For us, teamwork is important and we expect you to share collective responsibility for the activities. Collaboration and communication, both internally with colleagues and management and externally with the Social Services Department and other partners, are a natural part of our work. You will be offered further training and methodological support based on MI, TMO, and LAB. Working hours are 38.25 h/week, daytime work plus daytime work on certain weekends and one weekday evening per week until 19:00. We currently apply flexible working hour agreements. About you You should have at least a two-year upper secondary vocational education (YH) focused on social work, or alternatively a university degree as a social worker, behavioral scientist, or other education that the employer considers equivalent. You also need to have experience working in social services with people with support needs due to mental health issues or experiences of violence. It is a requirement that you hold a B driver's license and are comfortable driving a car for work purposes. Since we work extensively to help people move forward and to engage various authorities and healthcare providers, we see it as a merit if you have work experience involving collaboration between authorities and healthcare providers. You work well with others by listening, showing interest and respect. You understand the shared mission and work to make it as good as possible. You plan, organize, and prioritize work in an efficient manner. You ensure that work is completed on time and follow up on results. You have the courage and ability to make your own decisions within the scope of your assignment without being dependent on others. You take responsibility for your tasks and drive the work forward. You remain calm and confident in pressured and difficult situations. You can balance the demands placed on you and can make well-reasoned decisions despite time pressure. The intended salary range for the position is 31 000 – 42 600 SEK per month. The salary is based on a comprehensive assessment of your education, experience, and competencies you bring to the role.
