Your Responsibilities You will receive comprehensive and high-quality internal medicine training covering the full spectrum of internal medicine. As a specialist doctor, you will work a varied schedule that includes ward work, on-call duty, outpatient clinic, and rotations. You will develop a clear individual training plan tailored to your goals and the clinic's needs. In addition to the specialty-specific program, you will participate in Region Värmland's well-regarded courses (Ethics, Law, and Leadership), training that provides you with tools to grow both professionally and personally. Your Knowledge and Competencies We are looking for someone who has: Swedish medical license with authorization to practice in Swedish healthcare by the start date. Interest in specializing in internal medicine. Good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented approach. Good knowledge of Swedish at a minimum of C1 level. A doctoral degree and active research are advantageous but not required. As a person, you have good maturity and are confident in yourself, which enables you to handle different situations with sound judgment and respect. You are flexible and comfortable with the fact that conditions in daily life can change quickly. We are looking for a new team member for the Inspiration and Welfare Technology department in the Healthcare and Social Services Administration! Our department started in fall 2025 and has since received several new and exciting assignments. Now we are looking for an administrator as our current employee has moved on to new adventures. We are located at Kolvgatan 7 and are part of the home care business area. Today the team consists of ten employees who are responsible for the overall management of welfare technology within the healthcare and social services administration. Examples of products and services we work with include emergency alarm systems, medication dispensers, GPS alarms, bidet toilet seats and dryers, and meal assistance devices. We are also responsible for the Digital Guide service, the Inspiration Environment, and smart solutions that Karlstad residents can acquire on their own. Work Duties In your role as administrator you are responsible for, among other things, the service phone, meeting rooms, emergency supplies, invoice handling, orders, purchases, receiving and shipping, fault reports, and receiving visitors. You work in both personnel and business systems and provide general administrative support to the team. Qualifications The position requires upper secondary education and experience with administrative work. You need to have good ability to plan, prioritize, and structure your work independently and be able to collaborate well with others. The role also requires that you can express yourself well in Swedish in both speech and writing. Furthermore, good computer skills and experience working in digital systems are required. It is advantageous if you have experience with invoice handling and purchasing, working in personnel and business systems, order and delivery management, customer service, reception or telephone service, and from municipal or other public operations, and of course interest in or experience with welfare technology. We are looking for someone who enjoys working in a team, is self-driven and takes responsibility for your work tasks, is solution-oriented and has a positive attitude, is flexible and can handle varying work tasks, and has an easy time learning new tasks and systems.
