As clinic manager for the Orthodontic Clinic in Karlstad, you will have a central role in driving the operations forward together with engaged employees and in close collaboration with the Public Dental Health Service leadership. Your workplace The specialist orthodontic clinic is centrally located in Karlstad, in the same building as Public Dental Health Service Tingvalla, and also has branch clinics in Arvika and Hagfors. The clinic consists of 19 employees: six orthodontists, nine orthodontic assistants, one care administrator, one dental hygienist, one receptionist, and one clinic administrator. We are a modern and innovative clinic with high expertise in all types of bite deviations and a work environment characterized by collaboration and well-being. Your responsibilities As clinic manager, you lead, plan, and develop the operations. You are responsible for: clinical and personnel planning work environment management budget and follow-up driving development and creating good conditions for employees The position is combined with clinical work according to agreement. You will be part of the Public Dental Health Service's overall management and report to the dental care manager. At the clinic, you will receive support from a clinic administrator who participates in the local management group. As a manager in the Värmland Region, you will have access to our leadership academy with training and courses that strengthen your leadership, whether you are new to the role or experienced. Your knowledge and competencies We are looking for someone who is confident, engaged, and clear in your leadership. You have: education and experience in dental care a genuine interest in leadership the ability to build trust and good relationships good communication skills and a structured work approach Leadership experience is a merit but not a requirement.
