We are looking for a personal assistant in Forshaga. We are seeking someone with a strong interest and commitment to working with people who need extra help and support in their daily lives. You are proactive and adapt easily to different situations. It is important that you enjoy socializing and have a good sense of humor! You should have experience working in healthcare/care services. The person we are assisting has difficulty communicating, which means you need to be very attentive and empathetic. It is also important that you are fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing. The work involves helping the person we are assisting with daily activities ranging from personal hygiene, meals, and household chores to organizing fun activities. The tasks also include helping with exercise and rehabilitation. Swimming at the public pool is part of the duties, so you cannot be allergic to chlorine. It is an advantage if you have a driver's license. A dog may visit the person we are assisting, so you cannot be allergic to fur-bearing animals. You may sometimes drive a car at work, so it is an advantage if you have a driver's license. The position is 75% and scheduled for day, evening, night (on-call), and weekend shifts. Description Individual and Family Services (IFO) is part of the Learning and Work department, together with Individuals and Development, Adult Education, and the municipality's Learning Center. IFO is responsible for authority functions according to the Social Services Act (SoL), LVU, and LVM for children and adults, and also offers open care and open support. We are expanding our staffing and are therefore seeking a new colleague for our children's team. Treatment Staff Riddarnäset, Nykroppa

Värmland County Care Association is a municipal association where 16 municipalities in Värmland are members. The association operates HVB activities in several areas and is an actor in the overall development work regarding harmful use/addiction in the county. Addiction Center Värmland is operated jointly with Region Värmland for the target group of adults with harmful use/addiction in need of abstinence care. Kvarnbacken is an integrated HVB home for adults that we operate jointly with Region Värmland. Riddarnäset is an integrated facility where we together with Region Värmland conduct HVB for young people aged 13-20. Flöjten is our acute and assessment home with target group children 0-12 years. The association also arranges courses and conferences in the field of harmful use/addiction and, together with Region Värmland and the county's municipalities, has a mandate to jointly develop work with harmful use/addiction in Värmland. Description The HVB home Riddarnäset is located in Nykroppa, Filipstad Municipality. The facility accepts up to 10 young people aged 13–20 years with risk or substance abuse problems combined with neuropsychiatric and/or psychiatric difficulties and other problem-causing behaviors. Placement takes place according to both the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons (Special Provisions) Act. Our goal is to operate an HVB home with high quality, where each young person receives the support and treatment needed to create change and development. The facility is operated by Värmland County Care Association in cooperation with Region Värmland, the Child and Adolescent Psychiatric Clinic. Treatment staff work integrally with nurses, psychologist and physician. The unit also has a resource school operated by Filipstad Municipality and closely integrated with the treatment activities. We are now recruiting both a permanent employee, one for longer temporary work for 6 months, and temporary staff. Job Responsibilities As treatment staff, you are responsible for the daily, practical work with the young people. Together with other staff, you work based on established treatment plans and contribute to their implementation and follow-up. The work involves cooperation with the young person's family and network, the social services case manager and other relevant authorities and contacts. Documentation in the form of medical record notes is included, which requires that you can express yourself well in spoken and written Swedish. The placement period at Riddarnäset has clear goals and purposes. You therefore plan and carry out structured activities together with the young people, both individually and in groups. This means that you participate in both theoretical and practical activities. Qualifications We are looking for someone with training as a treatment pedagogue/assistant or other training that the employer considers equivalent, or alternatively relevant professional experience.
