Gammelkroppa Forest University – Filipstad Gammelkroppa Forest University is a small and specialized forest education institution, beautifully situated one mile east of Filipstad in eastern Värmland. We graduate forest technicians every other year and also conduct advanced training courses and conference activities in close collaboration with the forestry industry. We are now seeking a teacher in forestry subjects for our two-year forest technician program. Your responsibilities As a teacher with us, you will teach forestry courses, with a focus that we adapt to your competency profile, for example ecology, timber science, forest planning, and/or forest management. The role includes: Plan, conduct, and examine instruction (lectures, exercises, field components). Supervise students in project work and field exercises. Contribute to the development of courses and educational content in dialogue with colleagues and industry. Contribute to our advanced training activities and shorter courses when relevant. The work is varied with both classroom instruction and extensive practical components in forest environments. Your profile We are looking for someone who: Has forest higher education, such as forest technician, forestry graduate, forestry engineer, or equivalent. Has solid forest field experience and understanding of practical forestry operations. Preferably has experience in teaching, supervision, or training, but this is not an absolute requirement. Expresses yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish. As a person, you are pedagogical, engaged, and enjoy working closely with students in a small educational environment.
