Job Information Professionals Nord is seeking a senior construction project manager on behalf of AFRY. This assignment is part of our staffing services. You will be employed by Professionals Nord and work as a consultant at AFRY for 12 months. The intention is that you can eventually become directly employed by them, provided that all parties are satisfied with the collaboration. Key Responsibilities In your role as senior construction project manager, you are responsible for leading and driving construction projects in industry. You have a central role in project implementation and work closely with customers, contractors, and internal project teams to ensure that projects are delivered according to set goals. Examples of work tasks: Lead and drive construction projects through all project phases Take responsibility for planning, monitoring, and implementation of projects regarding time, quality, and economy Coordinate and lead dialogue between client, contractors, and other project stakeholders Work commercially by developing customer relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and contributing to the continued development of the operation About You We believe that your personal qualities are crucial to how well you will thrive in the role at AFRY. We are seeking someone with solid experience in construction project management in industry and who is comfortable leading complex projects and teams. You have at least a higher technical education or equivalent, as well as broad experience from the construction industry. We would like to see that you have previously worked as a project manager, contractor, consultant, BAS-P/BAS-U, client, or in a similar role. You have good market knowledge, a strong network, and are motivated by developing both business and operations. As a person, you are driven, engaged, and have a natural ability to build trust. You are receptive, diplomatic, and enjoy collaboration while having a clear focus on results. You are commercially minded, communicative, and understand the importance of the consultant role in customer relationships. The role involves travel when needed, which means you are flexible and comfortable working in different locations during periods.
