Description The Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Clinic at NU-sjukvården currently has approximately 150 full-time employees. These consist of treatment assistants, recreational pedagogues, physicians, nurses, social workers, psychologists, psychotherapists, team secretaries, dietitians, special education teachers, speech-language pathologists and occupational therapists. Right now the BUP clinic is undergoing major development and organizational work to evolve operations in relation to patients and healthcare partners. This involves accessibility, current guidelines and care programs and how we should organize the BUP clinic to meet current expectations. We need to challenge our established patterns and discover new possibilities while preserving the experience we have and what we know works. Responsibilities As a psychologist you work with child psychiatric assessments, investigations and treatments. Support during assessments and investigations is provided through jointly developed templates, support documents and guidelines. Treatment can be provided individually to children/adolescents, with families or in groups. We work using different methods depending on the nature of the case and what is assessed as most appropriate in each individual case, based on the National Board of Health and Welfare's guidelines and our regional medical guidelines (RMR). The work also includes collaboration with schools, social services, habilitation, pediatric medicine and other agencies around children and families. Work takes place in close collaboration with other staff, team leaders and management. Qualified supervision is available within the clinic for treatment and investigation work. The clinic has a psychologically responsible manager (PLA) who is part of the management team. Psychologists at the clinic have regular meetings to discuss professional common issues and an interdisciplinary reflection forum will be held during the term. Qualifications Licensed psychologist according to Swedish regulations. PTP position is not applicable for this position. We expect you to have an interest in child and adolescent psychiatry, to be structured, clear, organized and flexible, and to have a willingness to work and be part of a team. We value qualities such as good social competence where humor, forward-thinking and positive attitude are clear merits. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability and qualities such as good collaboration ability and the ability to work independently.
