Cornelia is a cheerful, curious, and social three-year-old girl who is looking for a safe and caring personal assistant who wants to be an important part of her everyday life. She enjoys books, stuffed animals, swinging, and riding in a stroller – especially when fun things are happening around her.
Cornelia can crawl and move about with mobility aids, but needs support, stimulation, and encouragement in her development. She receives all nutrition through tube feeding and has challenges with keeping food down, which means she needs a present and attentive assistant.
About the position
Cornelia has personal assistance at preschool Monday–Wednesday. The times are scheduled either 7:00 AM–12:00 PM or 12:00 PM–5:15 PM, and she now needs an additional hourly substitute.
There is also the possibility to work more if interested, for example through longer days on preschool days, other weekdays, and weekends. The arrangement is tailored through dialogue based on what works for both you and the family.
We are looking for someone who is responsible, secure, and has a calm and patient approach. You are creative, thoughtful, and respectful, and enjoy working with children and making a difference in someone else's life. Most importantly, you have your heart in the right place and can be there as a safe support in play, development, and both the small and big moments of everyday life. Experience with children, care, or healthcare is a merit but not a requirement.
There is a cat in the home, which means you need to be comfortable with pets.
This position is perfect for you if you are studying or looking for a long-term side job where you really get the opportunity to make a difference. We hope to find someone who wants to become a safe and important part of Cornelia's life for a long time to come.
Warm welcome with your application!
Additional information
Please include both a personal letter and CV, preferably in PDF format. The more complete your application, the greater your chance of being contacted for an interview. Files uploaded cannot be larger than 4 MB.
