The Forensic Psychiatric Regional Clinic provides high-quality forensic psychiatric care and is one of the country's five regional clinics within forensic psychiatry. In addition to its regional mission, the clinic has national intake. Many of the clinic's patients have been committed to forensic psychiatric care by court order. The assignment also includes receiving patients from the Prison and Probation Service who are in need of psychiatric care. The clinic consists of 11 inpatient wards and one outpatient clinic.
