JOB DUTIES
Our comprehensive trainee program spans approximately 20 months and is carefully designed to give you broad and deep experience in hospital care. The program is divided into three blocks, each lasting approximately 6-8 months, where you'll have the opportunity to work in various exciting areas such as medicine, surgery/orthopedics, and smaller specialized clinics including acute geriatrics, acute care ward, pediatric clinic, infectious diseases clinic, women's clinic, or oncology clinic. Between the different blocks, time is set aside for training days with lectures, discussions, reflection, and exchange.
You will spend most of your time in clinical work, where you'll practically apply and develop your knowledge. The rest of your time is devoted to your professional development through training, the region's development programs, and group meetings with your fellow program participants. Each new block begins with a thorough introduction where you'll meet your mentor at the clinic who will support you during the period.
As a trainee, you will also have the opportunity to observe at some of our specialist units including ambulance, ICU, operating room, anesthesia, and emergency. This gives you a unique insight into the diversity of care and an opportunity to explore your own interests and specializations.
