You work operatively with orders and picking yourself while taking on the additional responsibility of coordinating the work and creating structure for the team throughout the workday. You need to be able to lift your gaze from individual tasks and see the bigger picture: What needs to be prioritized? Is everyone on task? Which orders and rounds need to be prepared? Is there anyone who needs support or further instructions? What can we do more efficiently? An important part of the role is about creating momentum and progress. You distribute and coordinate daily work, help colleagues prioritize correctly, and ensure that work in the picking department flows smoothly. You understand what it takes to get a warehouse flow functioning and are comfortable working operatively yourself. You don't necessarily need to have held the title of team leader before. What matters is that you have the right qualities to take on greater responsibility and help people around you succeed. We believe you are a person with energy, initiative, and natural drive. You don't wait for someone else to solve the situation – you see what needs to be done and act. At the same time, you are pedagogical. Being a team leader isn't just about saying what needs to be done – you need to be able to explain why, show how, and adapt your communication to different people. For you to succeed in the role, we also believe that you: Have a good understanding of warehouse work and operational flows Are initiative-driven and see what needs to be done Have the ability to maintain a big-picture perspective even when the pace is high Are clear, pedagogical, and communicative Enjoy helping and developing others Find it easy to collaborate and build good relationships Dare to take responsibility and make decisions within your role Are solution-oriented and gladly come up with ideas on how work can be improved Thrive in a role where you both lead others and work operatively yourself Simply put, we're looking for you who wants to be the captain of the team – the person who is in the game themselves but also ensures that the team knows what needs to be done and works together toward the same goal.
