Company Presentation We are now seeking a Purchasing Officer for a consulting assignment with one of our clients in Norrköping. The position is approximately 50%, with immediate start and initially runs until the turn of the year, with good prospects for extension. The role is ideal for you if you thrive in an operational procurement function where you work broadly with supplier contacts, order management, analysis, and development of purchasing processes. You will be an important part of the operation and have the opportunity to contribute structure, business acumen, and improvement work in an organization with strong growth and high ambitions. Tasks and Responsibilities Our client is a well-established and expanding company in trade and distribution with operations in the Nordic region. The company offers a wide range of products to business customers and has an extensive international supplier network. As a Purchasing Officer, you will be part of a business area with a large product range and work closely with the product manager, marketing function, and business area manager. You are responsible for daily operational purchasing work and ensure that the right products are available based on demand, inventory levels, and supplier conditions. You work with analysis and decision-making materials in purchasing systems, plan and execute purchases from suppliers around the world, and contribute to developing and streamlining working methods, processes, and system support within the procurement function. The role involves many contact points both internally and externally and is suitable for someone who thrives in a coordinating and business-oriented role. Your Profile Have experience in operational purchasing work and can work relatively independently Have good understanding of procurement processes, planning, and analysis Have very good Excel skills Have good system experience and high IT proficiency Master Swedish and English well, both spoken and written Personal Qualities To succeed in the role, we believe you are structured, analytical, and responsible.
