As Operations Manager, you will have a central role in leading and developing operations with a focus on safety, profitability, and employees. About Foundation Work Svevia Foundation Work is a specialized business that performs projects within all types of conventional foundation work. With our own equipment resources in piling, drilling, and sheet piling, we carry out foundation work projects throughout Sweden. The foundation projects consist of a mix of both large and smaller projects with varying complexity. With offices in Sundbyberg, Gothenburg, Norrköping, and Luleå, we have proximity to the local market and the ability to execute projects where our customers are located. Svevia Foundation Work consists of approximately 45 employees and is part of Region Special in the Facilities Division within Svevia. Your Assignment as Operations Manager As Operations Manager for Foundation Work, you lead and develop operations with responsibility for results, employees, and business. Focus is on safety, quality, profitability, and satisfied customers. In the role, you work to create conditions for a long-term sustainable and well-functioning operation. You lead through others and have an important task in developing both the organization and the people in it. Through present-focused leadership, you create commitment, accountability, and good cooperation. You drive development and change to strengthen operational results and future competitiveness. The role encompasses a specialist area where knowledge of foundation work, geotechnics, and contracting business is important. This means you need to be able to combine strategic leadership with an understanding of the operational technical prerequisites and the requirements imposed in both customer assignments and project execution. As a member of Region Special's management group, you also contribute to the region's continued development and work together with other managers to strengthen Svevia's business, culture, and long-term competitiveness. Who Are You? We are looking for you with experience from a leading role within the facilities, contracting, or infrastructure sector. You have experience leading operations with clear overall responsibility for business, finances, results, and employees. You have a good understanding of the contracting business, experience in business development, and the ability to create results through others. To be successful in the role, you also need to have a good technical understanding of the operations' core. We therefore prefer that you have experience from foundation work operations and good knowledge of the technical and business prerequisites within the field. Experience in geotechnical design, infrastructure projects, or other specialized contracting operations is a merit. We also value experience working as a subcontractor, where understanding of cooperation, customer requirements, and project execution is an important success factor. As a leader, you are confident, clear, and engaged. You have the ability to lead through others and create conditions for people to develop and perform. You see individuals' potential and actively work to develop both employees and operations. At the same time, you are business-minded, relationship-building, and have the ability to build trust with both customers and colleagues. The placement is flexible and can be adapted based on the right candidate.
