We provide open and inpatient specialized care in internal medicine, other internal medicine specialties (excluding geriatrics), as well as neurology, rheumatology, and allergology. We are now seeking one, or preferably two, senior physicians or specialist physicians in rheumatology who want to help develop the rheumatology section through knowledge, commitment, and drive. 2 position(s). DUTIES The rheumatology section is in a distinct development phase. Your contribution will of course include direct patient care and teamwork with our experienced and well-functioning clinic staff, but also largely involves operations development and supervision of trainee physicians. We have two rheumatologically interested resident physicians who will be active in the section. Active recruitment of additional resident physicians is underway. In addition, we have a well-functioning junior physician position that relieves the operations with routine tasks. The operations have very strong support from retired colleagues who are now employed on an hourly basis, as well as regularly returning locum physicians. Through this, we maintain good availability. Operations in the section consist mainly of outpatient care, with primarily clinic work and a small portion of day care. You are a specialist in rheumatology with extensive experience in rheumatological outpatient care. From Växjö, there are good opportunities to commute from locations outside the region. We also offer relocation services, which includes a number of services designed to make it easier to establish yourself as a newcomer to Kronoberg.
