Vårdcentralen Birka is located in the eastern part of Växjö and is a well-functioning health center with broad expertise and extensive experience. You meet patients of all ages and in various life situations, both those we follow over time and patients who seek care on single occasions. We offer comprehensive primary care including counseling, rehabilitation, preventive healthcare, child health services, and psychiatric expertise. We also have specialist clinics in wound care, diabetes, asthma/COPD, incontinence, dementia, elderly care, and child health services. This gives you good opportunities to broaden and deepen your expertise in several areas. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a nurse or district nurse with us, you will have varied work with great diversity in both tasks and patient interactions. Your main responsibilities include clinic work, telephone advice, and assessments via telephone and video. We value the experience you bring with you and will tailor the introduction based on your knowledge and circumstances to give you a secure start in the role. As a nurse or district nurse in primary care, you will also work at our on-call doctor center. There we provide care for residents in the evenings after 5 PM and on weekends. The assignment is shared by many employees, and you will receive special introduction training for work at the on-call doctor center so that you feel confident and well-prepared in your role. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse or district nurse. Experience from work at a health center or other outpatient care facility is a merit. To thrive with us, you are a positive and engaged person who enjoys collaborating while also being able to work independently. You are flexible, responsible, and have a genuine interest in people and their health.
