NELLY - Visual Merchandiser, Flagship Stores

. NELLY is a well-known e-commerce pioneer. Since our start in 2004, we've built a strong brand with approximately 900,000 active customers. Today, NELLY comprises around 200 employees, with half working at our warehouse in Borås, and the rest primarily from our new headquarters in Göteborg or our flagship stores in Stockholm, Göteborg, and Köpenhamn. We help young women and men in the Nordic region feel great every day. We offer fashion for all occasions that reflects the trendiest styles and the best brands. At NELLY, you'll find broad career opportunities in a company that values innovation, drive, and initiative. Visual Merchandiser, Flagship Stores – set the standard for how we appear in store Do you want to help shape how a growing brand is experienced – for real? We're looking for a self-driven, creative, and commercially minded Visual Merchandiser who will take clear ownership of our visual expression in our flagship stores in Stockholm, Göteborg, and Köpenhamn. This is a role for someone who isn't satisfied with just making things look nice, but who wants to understand why it looks the way it does, what it communicates, and how it builds the NELLY brand. You'll become a central figure in our continued development of the store concept and will have the opportunity to set the standard for how we present our brand – from the big picture to the smallest details. The Role You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our visual expression at flagship level. You see the full picture, but also have an eye for details: from how a collection is presented and how sizes are communicated, to hang tags, planograms, colors, seasonal expressions, and how the store evolves over time. We want you to be the person constantly thinking: How can we make this even better? There's no ready-made process to step into – you'll get to help create it. Among other things, you will: Own and develop our visual identity in store. Set guidelines and standards for Visual Merchandising and be ultimately responsible for implementing this in store – often by yourself. Develop concepts for different seasons, campaigns, and collections. Translate the brand into a clear and commercial store expression. Create guidelines, planograms, and concepts. Be out in store testing, adjusting, and developing. Ensure that the visual expression both builds the brand and drives sales. Identify trends, new ideas, ways of working, and concepts, and be confident enough to present and anchor them internally. Ensure that the details are right – even when it comes to things that no one else might think about. Work closely with Retail, Brand, Creative, Event, and store teams. A role with a lot of retail and a lot of travel This is a physical retail role. You love being in a store environment and enjoy testing ideas in reality. Although the role is based in Stockholm and the store on Drottninggatan, the Göteborg flagship, with its proximity to our headquarters, will become an important hub where we/you test, develop, and refine our expression. You'll be there often. Köpenhamn also needs a lot of attention. This means you'll be traveling a lot, which of course you only see as exciting and inspiring. Who are you? We believe our dream candidate is someone who wants to do everything but has the ability to prioritize their time with our stores' development and expression as top of mind. You're very self-driven and are used to seeing what needs to be done yourself. You don't wait for a brief to come up with ideas – you see opportunities and drive them forward. You have: Several years of experience in Visual Merchandising, Retail Design, or similar roles within physical retail. Strong general trend awareness and understanding of our target audience in particular. A commercial mindset and understanding of sales and brand building. The ability to switch between big picture and details – strategy one moment, details on the store floor the next. A very good visual eye and feeling for details. The ability to see what works for different target groups, stores, and markets. Experience creating concepts and then implementing them in practice – on your own or through others. Energy and curiosity to continuously develop the expression. The ability to set a direction, communicate it clearly, and get others to follow it – you need to be a strong team player who creates engagement around you. More Than Visual Merchandising This is an opportunity to build something from the ground up. We don't have a ready-made manual for how everything should be done. We need someone who can create the structure, develop the concepts, and set the bar – and who is naturally humble enough to stand on the store floor and move things around until it actually feels right. If this sounds like your dream role, we'd love to hear from you.
