We are now looking for a Senior Accountant who ensures high quality in financial statements, annual reports and reporting for multiple companies within Hemfrid and KEYTO Group. You will become a key person in the accounting team, close support to the Head of Accounting and an important driving force in the development of our processes, systems and ways of working. About the Role As Senior Accountant, you will become a key person in Hemfrid's finance function and report to the Head of Accounting. You take independent responsibility for parts of the ongoing accounting as well as monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements. You also contribute with deep expertise in more complex accounting matters. The finance department functions as a Shared Service Center and is responsible for accounting in several companies within KEYTO Group. The role therefore involves broad responsibility for multiple companies and contact points in an international and change-intensive group environment. You ensure that accounting and reporting maintain high quality, are correct and delivered on time, and that the companies comply with applicable laws, regulations and internal procedures. The role has no personnel responsibility but suits you as someone who enjoys sharing your knowledge, supporting colleagues and acting as a qualified sounding board for both the Head of Accounting and the rest of the team. As the group grows, you are expected to actively contribute to developing and streamlining our processes, procedures, systems and internal controls. In the role, you will, among other things: Independently manage ongoing bookkeeping as well as monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in accordance with K3, with reporting to a group that applies IFRS. Prepare and ensure correct and timely group reporting, including tax reporting. Prepare and quality-assure annual reports and documentation for group reporting for multiple companies within KEYTO Group. Prepare and quality-assure income tax returns for several of the group's companies. Act as a qualified sounding board to the Head of Accounting and contribute to analyses, improvement initiatives and various projects. Develop and quality-assure accounting procedures, processes and internal controls. Support the controller function with analyses and reconciliations for management reporting. Act as a mentor and contribute accounting expertise to team colleagues. Participate in the development and streamlining of finance systems and accounting processes. Be a superuser in the accounting system IFS. Your Profile We are looking for you who is confident and independent in your accounting expertise and who enjoys taking on significant responsibility. You have solid experience in qualified accounting work and are accustomed to driving closing and reporting processes from beginning to end. You are structured and meticulous, with a strong sense of quality and deadlines. At the same time, you have the ability to step back, see the business from a holistic perspective and identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working. As a person, you are communicative, solution-oriented and unpretentious. You collaborate well with others and can explain economic relationships in a clear and pedagogical way, even for people without an accounting background. You enjoy sharing your knowledge and actively contribute to both the team's and finance function's continued development. We are looking for you who have: University degree in business administration or accounting, or equivalent experience deemed comparable. At least five years of experience in qualified accounting work in an independent role. Experience with reporting in an international or change-intensive group environment. Very good knowledge of Swedish accounting legislation and VAT and tax regulations. Good knowledge of K3 and preferably understanding of IFRS. Solid experience with financial statements, reconciliations and period reporting. Experience independently preparing annual financial statements and annual reports. Good experience working in accounting systems and very good skills in Excel. Fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written. It is advantageous if you also have: Experience from an audit firm or accounting firm. Experience from service-oriented operations or companies with large transaction volumes and many branches or units. Experience supporting, coaching or informally leading colleagues in daily work. Experience with IFS. Experience with Aaro.
