We are seeking a senior CE Lead for a comprehensive and technically complex industrial and energy project in Stockholm.
In this role, you will have overall responsibility for establishing, coordinating, and driving the project's CE compliance program. You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, HSE, Quality, Procurement, Legal/Regulatory, Construction, Commissioning, and Operations, as well as external contractors and suppliers.

The Role
As CE Lead, you are responsible for ensuring that the project's work with CE marking and product compliance is structured, planned, and traceable through relevant project phases.
You will, among other things:
- Lead the project's overall CE compliance program regarding scope, schedule, quality, safety, and risk.
- Establish governance, implementation plans, responsibility allocation, review structure, and escalation paths.
- Define and maintain boundaries for products, machinery, pressure equipment, systems, and packaged solutions.
- Ensure appropriate strategy and process for conformity assessment.
- Coordinate applicable EU product legislation, Swedish requirements, standards, and any third-party assessments.
- Lead assessments of substantial changes to existing facilities and technical systems.
- Integrate CE requirements into engineering, procurement, supplier requirements, inspection and test plans, commissioning, and handover.
- Manage CE-related actions, deviations, decisions, and escalations.
- Ensure quality and traceability of Technical File documentation.
- Lead lifecycle and readiness reviews.
- Report CE readiness, critical obstacles, risks, and decision needs to project management.
- Coordinate work for declaration of conformity, CE marking readiness, and final documentation handover.
- Ensure that systems and facility components are not released with incomplete or insufficiently substantiated compliance documentation.
We Are Looking for You With
- At least 10 years of experience in CE marking, product compliance, or conformity work on major industrial, energy, or process projects.
- Experience from multidisciplinary EPC projects.
- Experience with integration and modification of existing facilities (brownfield).
- Engineering degree or equivalent technical education.
- Very good understanding of CE processes, risk reduction, technical documentation, and declaration of conformity.
- Strong experience in technical coordination, program management, documentation control, and evidence management.
You need to have in-depth knowledge within relevant EU product legislation, including:
- Machinery Directive
- Pressure Equipment
- Electrical Safety
- EMC
- ATEX
- Integrated Systems and Combined Installations
You should also be able to:
- Define product and system boundaries.
- Establish appropriate conformity assessment procedures.
- Lead assessments of substantial changes.
- Establish requirement and evidence matrices for compliance.
- Manage lifecycle reviews and Technical File readiness.
- Plan and coordinate declarations and other compliance deliverables.

Professional English is a requirement.
Swedish is highly desirable.
