KompetensUtvecklingsInstitutet Vocational University is now seeking a teacher/educator for the Support Education program. Together with the rest of the team, you will drive and develop the educational programs forward. This work includes course planning and design, teaching, and mentoring of students.

Good pedagogical ability combined with an interest in people and the industry is a must. We are now seeking an engaged and structured team player with the ability to communicate clearly.
Work experience/background
Pedagogical education – or something the employer deems equivalent
Professional experience from the LSS field
Experience working with children with mental health issues
Experience in distance teaching
Relevant post-secondary education, e.g., support educator, social worker.
You have very good IT skills and can quickly adapt to different systems
You have excellent knowledge of digital tools and common Office programs
Experience in course development
Personal qualities
It is meritorious if you appreciate varied and stimulating work and have a strong creative side. You have a sense of order and organization, can collaborate with others while working independently, and can prioritize. You have good interpersonal skills and strong customer service awareness. You are quick and efficient, solution-focused, and results-oriented.

The position is a permanent employment with mandatory 6-month probationary period. Travel is included in the position approximately 1-2 times/month – overnight stays may occur. Travel is related to teaching at other locations and organizational meetings.
