About Us ASIH Tyresö/Söderort is a small healthcare provider that has been delivering advanced home care services on behalf of Region Stockholm since 2015. We work in area 3 with patients in Tyresö, Haninge, Huddinge, Botkyrka, and Nynäshamn. Here you work closely with patients and their families as part of a multiprofessional team consisting of physicians, nurses, nursing assistants, physiotherapist/lymphotherapist, occupational therapist, dietitian, and social worker. About the Position As a physician with us, you'll have varied and patient-centered work with broad medical scope. The majority of our patients have a cancer diagnosis, but we also care for patients with other chronic conditions such as heart failure, COPD, and kidney failure. Our patients are at different stages of their disease process, ranging from curative to palliative care. Some patients spend their final days at home. The work involves both scheduled medical assessments and acute care, making your days varied and stimulating. As a physician, you become an important part of the care chain and collaborate with acute hospitals and other healthcare providers. We believe that future care will increasingly be delivered close to the patient – and ASIH plays a central role in this. Who Are We Looking For? We're seeking someone who is confident in their physician role, enjoys patient-centered work, and thrives collaborating with other professions. You should have an interest in and ideally experience with palliative care and symptom management. You enjoy working independently but also appreciate the opportunity to discuss patients with colleagues and the team. We would like you to have: experience from ASIH or other advanced home care specialist competence in palliative medicine or another relevant specialty experience with palliative care certification in palliative care – advantageous interest in developing yourself and the organization interest and ability to contribute to training and skills development of other staff We also welcome applicants without previous ASIH experience but with the right competencies, interests, and personal qualities. Qualifications We are looking for you who are a general practitioner, preferably within infectious diseases or a related field. You have several years of experience as a physician and good knowledge of vaccination and travel medicine. You are welcome to be cost-conscious and perhaps have experience running your own business. Previous experience working with vaccinations is a merit. You are flexible, confident in your professional role and have a positive and solution-oriented attitude. You enjoy working with people, have a strong service orientation and a good ability to work collaboratively in a team.
