Then this role might be for you. About the position On the communications department, we currently have about ten web editors distributed across four units. The group is held together by a web coordinator to ensure that work methods and websites are cohesive in a uniform way. You will be part of the coordinated communications unit where we bring together our channels such as press, newsletters, social media, and web at an overarching level. As a web editor, you will be responsible for a couple of subject areas and will write texts and optimize content on the websites. You will also work with the shared and ongoing management of the web. You work closely with subject matter experts in the operations and adapt content based on target audience and accessibility requirements. Beyond your colleagues on the unit, other editors, communicators, and experts at the agency, you will also work closely with the head of web and e-services who coordinates the development and management of our websites and web services, as well as project managers and test leaders. Main responsibilities Responsible for publishing, updating, and quality assurance of content on the agency's e-services and websites Write, edit, and adapt texts for the web based on target audience and SEO Coordinate content with subject matter experts, editorial and communications colleagues Follow up and analyze traffic and search behavior using analytics tools Ensure that the website complies with guidelines for accessibility, plain language, GDPR, and branding About you To succeed in this role, it is important that you have the ability to work independently but also in close collaboration with others. You are solution-oriented, innovative, and enjoy contributing ideas and suggestions. You have an easy time building good collaborations with subject matter experts at the agency while being clear in representing the needs of the target audience. We are looking for someone who has post-secondary education in communication and/or web experience in tailoring texts to a target audience from a user perspective experience in structuring and simplifying complex information to create clear and user-friendly web content good experience with commonly used web CMS systems very good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing It is meritorious if you have experience working in larger complex organizations within web and communications have a technical and pedagogical approach to web work, preferably with experience in UX-copy are experienced in managing content on large complex websites have experience working in Optimizely/Episerver, preferably with in-depth knowledge of building pages and forms in Optimizely Forms have experience working with web analytics have experience in accessibility, plain language, or other areas that facilitate the agency's target audiences Good to know The position is a permanent employment with placement in Stockholm. We apply a 6-month probationary period. Your job title will be communicator in the coordinated communications unit at the communications department, at Socialstyrelsen. Placement is at Västerbroplan in Stockholm, but during spring 2027 we are moving to Solna Strand.
