Nurse at Maria Ungdom

Beroendecentrum Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and help to people with problems related to alcohol, narcotics, medication, or gambling. Our activities include acute and 24-hour care, local outpatient care, and highly specialized treatment. We are also a clinic that conducts university healthcare as well as research and education. Workplace Maria Ungdom helps children, adolescents, and young adults who have risky use, harmful use, or addiction to alcohol and other drugs, often in combination with other mental health issues. We are part of Beroendecentrum Stockholm and Region Stockholm and we also collaborate with social services and the police, among others. Maria Ungdom is a complete care chain with an emergency department offering 24-hour care as well as outpatient care in various forms. Read more about our activities and what we can offer you as an employee on our website: Maria Ungdom Job Responsibilities As a nurse at a MiniMaria, you will work with staff from both Maria Ungdom and the municipality where MiniMaria is located. Currently, the placement is primarily intended to be at MiniMaria Botkyrka. You play an important role in collaboration with other actors such as psychiatry and social services. Your responsibilities as a nurse include telephone counseling, assessment, investigation, shorter and longer treatments, and motivation work with young people, with or under investigation for harmful use and addiction to alcohol, drugs, or medication. We also treat gambling addiction and nicotine and tobacco addiction. Documentation is done in the TakeCare electronic health record system and we often work in teams with treatment providers in the municipality. MI and ACRA are also meritorious but can also be offered as part of the position. If you have training in Relapse Prevention and/or CBT, that is a plus.
