Beroendecentrum Stockholm is Sweden's largest addiction clinic. We offer support and help to people with problems related to alcohol, narcotics, medication, or gambling. Workplace Maria Ungdom helps children, adolescents, and young adults who have risky use, harmful use, or addiction to alcohol and other drugs, often in combination with other mental health issues. Read more about our activities and what we can offer you as an employee on our website: Maria Ungdom Job Responsibilities As a nurse at a MiniMaria, you will work with staff from both Maria Ungdom and the municipality where MiniMaria is located. Currently, the placement is primarily intended to be at MiniMaria Botkyrka. You play an important role in collaboration with other actors such as psychiatry and social services. Your responsibilities as a nurse include telephone counseling, assessment, investigation, shorter and longer treatments, and motivation work with young people, with or under investigation for harmful use and addiction to alcohol, drugs, or medication. We also treat gambling addiction and nicotine and tobacco addiction. Documentation is done in the TakeCare electronic health record system and we often work in teams with treatment providers in the municipality. We want you to: Be solution-focused and show commitment to our target group. Preferably be organized, as the work involves planning, organizing, and prioritizing your own work. Since our clinics are small, we also place great emphasis on good collaboration skills with your colleagues and that you feel confident in your role as a nurse. Great importance is also placed on personal suitability. Qualifications We are looking for you if you are a licensed nurse, preferably with further education in psychiatry or child and adolescent care. Meritorious qualifications include experience working with adolescents and their families, as well as experience in addiction care, psychiatry, and outpatient care. MI and ACRA are also meritorious but can also be offered as part of the position. If you have training in Relapse Prevention and/or CBT, that is a plus. For patient-facing work within Stockholm County Health Care Region (SLSO): - Register checks are applied before the decision to hire according to SLSO's overarching guidelines for register checks at hiring. - Employees who will have patient contact must undergo a new hire medical examination, according to current directives, which is done through occupational health services before employment. - Apart from Swedish professional licensing, good knowledge of the Swedish language is required at level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).
