Psychosis Care Stockholm is a newly established operation within the Stockholm County Healthcare Region. Here we consolidate care for patients over 18 years old with psychotic illness in an organizational unit. We offer assessment, investigation and treatment according to national guidelines and regional care programs. Within Psychosis Care Stockholm, we conduct development work, education and research on psychotic illness. We work in multiprofessional teams to ensure that the care and treatment around the patient is as good as possible. Would you like to lead and develop care for patients with psychotic illness? We are seeking an engaged and organized assistant unit manager for department M78. About Us Department M78 is a psychiatric care ward within 24-hour care within Psychosis Care Stockholm, focusing on treatment of patients with prolonged psychotic symptoms such as schizophrenia, delusional disorder and schizoaffective disorder. We work ethically with person-centered care where we focus on strengthening the patient's active participation and supporting the ability for self-care. We place great emphasis on our patients receiving good treatment and knowledge-based care where the patient's own narrative forms the basis of the patient's care plan. M78 offers voluntary admission as a way to strengthen the patient's participation, autonomy and responsibility for their own care. The ward is located at Huddinge Hospital and has 16 care beds and accepts patients with diagnosed schizophrenia/psychotic illness. We offer specialist psychiatric 24-hour care according to national guidelines and regional care programs. About the Position As assistant unit manager, you play a central role in the daily operations. Your assignment includes: Responsible for daily planning of operations Coach and support staff Plan competency development Drive improvement work within nursing care and working methods Who Are We Looking For? We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse, preferably with specialist training in psychiatry. You have experience in leadership and a strong commitment to operational development. You are: Organized and structured Communicative and collaboration-oriented Driven in improvement work Solution-focused and proactive Adaptable and positive to change Good knowledge of Swedish and English is a requirement. Teaching experience and experience in quality and improvement work are merits. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Other Information You will be employed in your base profession with a fixed-term assignment as assistant unit manager with the possibility of extension. The same requirement is guiding with regard to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
