Decerno Designstudio is growing and we are now seeking an experienced UX Designer who wants to take full responsibility for the user experience in complex, socially beneficial digital solutions. About the Role As a UX Designer at Decerno, you will work with the entire design process, from strategy and user experience improvement to design implementation. The work may include user research and interviews, requirements management, interaction design and UI, workshop facilitation, prototyping, as well as planning and conducting usability tests. You will have a central role with us where you are often the driving UX expertise in a cross-functional team. Through the Design Studio, you will continuously receive support, exchange experiences, and have the opportunity to develop alongside other designers. The position is at our Stockholm office. The role is a permanent position with a six-month probationary period. What Do We Do? Decerno develops customized and mission-critical digital solutions for organizations with complex needs and important public sector mandates. We combine digital craftsmanship, AI, and deep business understanding to create solutions that endure and evolve over time. We take responsibility throughout the entire system lifecycle – from business understanding and design to development, management, and continuous improvement. Behind our solutions are approximately 150 employees in areas such as systems development, UX, requirements, testing, and architecture. We believe you are an experienced UX Designer who combines strong craftsmanship with curiosity and responsibility. You have several years of experience in UX work in complex contexts and use AI tools as a natural part of your design process. You thrive in cross-functional teams where you contribute with both structure and dialogue. You have: At least four years of professional experience in UX design Relevant higher education or university degree Very good skills in Figma Knowledge of designing for accessibility and inclusive user experiences Experience facilitating workshops and leading teams, clients, and other stakeholders through user-centered design processes, for example using design thinking Experience working with large and complex solutions Experience using AI throughout the design process, for example in research, idea development, and for building and testing prototypes Experience working in cross-functional teams Good skills in Swedish and English, both spoken and written Experience from consulting, product ownership, or working on multiple assignments and clients is meritious. We also view experience in business development, process improvement, change management, and internal business systems positively. As a person, you are curious, communicative, and confident in questioning assumptions. You thrive in changing environments, work independently, and collaborate closely with developers and other competencies. With an interest in business and the evolution of the UX role, you enjoy exploring how AI, new tools, and ways of working can contribute to better solutions and more efficient processes. You adapt your way of working to the project's, client's, and team's needs and can switch between exploratory work and delivery focus.
