The support educators are planned to start in January 2027, giving you the opportunity to be part of building the facility's routines and working methods before launch. The BoDa unit consists of two residential houses with three residents in each house, plus a separate building for daytime activities. The target group for the facility includes people with autism, intellectual disabilities, and challenging behavior. As support educators, you will have an important role in shaping and developing the facility from the ground up. You will work both operationally and systematically to establish routines, implement working methods, and contribute to a safe environment for both service users and staff. Qualifications We are looking for someone with education as a support educator or social educator, or alternatively a post-secondary specialization in the disability field comprising at least 200 vocational credits, 120 higher education credits, or a combination equivalent to at least four semesters of full-time studies. Alternatively, 60 higher education credits and at least two years of experience working with support and services for people with disabilities. The education should include relevant credits in behavioral science, pedagogy, psychology, social work, and (psychiatric) care. Communication is an important part of the work, which requires that you have passed Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test administrator Educateit. It is a requirement that you have experience working with autism spectrum and challenging behavior, and that you have knowledge and experience with LAB, MI, and AAC.
