Do you want to make a difference for people with disabilities and provide them with support in their daily lives? We are now recruiting motivated hourly temporary staff for Skärviken and Skäruddens BmSS, located on beautiful Styrsö in Gothenburg's southern archipelago!
To get to the facilities on Styrsö, you will need to take a ferry from Saltholmen.
As an hourly temporary staff member with our Staffing Unit, you will become an important part of the residents' daily lives. You will assist with both practical and educational tasks, from personal care to leisure activities and social support. We work with individualized support for people with intellectual disabilities and autism.

About You
You must be at least 18 years old, in accordance with regulations regarding the working environment for minors (AFS 2023:2).
To be able to manage documentation, you need to have proficiency in Swedish in speech and writing, which requires passed grades in Swedish 1, Swedish as a Second Language 1, or equivalent. If you do not meet the qualification requirements in Swedish 1 or Swedish as a Second Language 1, you may be offered to take a language test through the test administrator Educateit.
If you have education in care and support or other education that the employer deems equivalent, or experience working with people with disabilities and/or in care and support work, that is meritorious.
It is meritorious if you have experience working with the autism target group and challenging behavior. If you also have knowledge of LAB (Low Arousal Approach), AAC (Alternative and Augmentative Communication), clarifying pedagogy, MI, and experience with social documentation, that is to your advantage.
