We are now expanding our operations and are looking for an additional specialized contact person who wants to work closely with young people and young adults aged 15-21 who are in or at risk of falling into criminal activity. About the Unit The position belongs to the Family Department's treatment unit Familjehuset, which is part of the Employment and Social Administration in Karlstad Municipality. In addition to your closest colleague, approximately 25 family counselors work at the unit. You will be part of a team consisting of you, your colleague, and six family counselors focused on young people and their families. You will also have a case advisor who provides support in case processes and is responsible for procedures and guidelines. The unit is located in central Karlstad. About the Assignment As a specialized contact person, you work closely with young people and young adults who are in or at risk of being drawn into criminal activity. The assignment aims to strengthen the young person's ability to make positive life choices and break a negative development pattern. The work involves building a trusting relationship with the young person and functioning as a support and positive role model to motivate them toward school or other activities, support prosocial leisure activities, and break destructive life patterns. Collaboration with social services, guardians, police, and other activities important to the young person is an important part of the assignment. The specialized contact person intervention is a needs-assessed service that is decided on and monitored by social workers. Assignments can be initiated from both the Family Department and the Department for Integration, Livelihood and Employment's unit for young adults. Work takes place both during daytime, evenings, and when necessary on weekends. Environmental Consultant - EIA and Permits

We are now looking for an environmental consultant specializing in environmental impact assessments and permit processes for our environmental team in Karlstad. At Norconsult, we have over 100 employees working with various types of environmental issues, of which nearly 50 work in EIA and permits. The environmental team in Karlstad currently consists of five environmental consultants with broad and deep expertise. Now we want to strengthen and complement the team with a junior staff member. If you have a few years of experience in the industry, that is a merit, but not necessary. In Karlstad, we work with environmental assessments, nature value inventories, and environmental impact assessments in various infrastructure projects. We conduct both strategic environmental assessments of plans and programs as well as specific environmental assessments for permit-dependent activities in the infrastructure sector (power lines, roads, and railways).
