Personal Assistant for Young Boy

Are you the assistant I'm looking for? Hourly substitute position that could lead to a permanent job after the summer. Hi! I'm a boy almost 4 years old, living in Gävle with my mom, dad, and older sister. I was born with brain damage, cerebral palsy, and epilepsy, which means I need assistance around the clock. My assistants work different shifts—either morning, afternoon, or night watch. I'm very kind and easygoing; many people say I'm a real charmer. I'm usually at home during the day since I have many assistive devices I need to be near. But sometime during the day, I'd like to take a walk in my stroller, so whoever works with me should enjoy that too. Singing and music are also a big part of my everyday life—I love when my assistants sing to me, and it's fun when they share themselves. When I'm not at home, I'm probably at the hospital. I'm usually there a few days each month, sometimes more and sometimes less. This means the workplace is wherever I am. I want whoever works with me to be kind, respectful of the fact that everyone can be different, and it would be good if you have experience with epilepsy. It's important that you're attentive, because it's still my mom and dad who make decisions for me (at least until I'm 18, they say...). You must speak Swedish well, and I don't want you to smoke. I'm looking for assistants together with JA-assistans, a small company with about 15 clients. They have their office in Ockelbo. The pay is hourly according to industry standards. Overtime compensation, vacation, and other benefits/terms according to the collective agreement. Paid introduction begins by agreement. To work with me, you must provide an extract from the criminal record register, which you can order here: https://polisen.se/tjanster-tillstand/belastningsregistret/barn-med-funktionsnedsattning/ You must have Bank-ID and later in the fall also access to Kivra. Send in your CV and cover letter as soon as possible, but no later than 2026-08-12. Reference number: JA-2613 Interviews are ongoing, and the position may be filled before the final application date.

Service Staff at The Grand Social Gävle

Service Staff at The Grand Social in Gävle It's not just the food guests remember. It's how the evening felt. That's where you come in. At Drottninggatan 23, The Grand Social is opening — Gävle's new living room for long evenings, great food, a bar, darts, shuffleboard, karaoke, and an atmosphere that builds as the night goes on. We're looking for someone who loves people, pace, and energetic evenings. You're the person who greets guests, reads the table, keeps drinks flowing, recommends what to eat and drink, and maybe which game they should book next. You notice when a table wants peace and quiet — and when they want the evening to come alive. This isn't a job where you just "take orders." You're creating the evening. With us, you move between food, drinks, and experience. One moment you're serving tapas, the next you're getting a group started with darts or karaoke. If you can also mix simple cocktails, pour a perfect beer, or help out at the bar when needed, that's a big plus. The pace will be high. Evenings can run late. The music builds, tables fill up, and guests stay longer than they expected. You thrive in that — and you get better when there's a lot happening around you. How we reward it If you do a great job, it should show. Beyond your salary, we're introducing profit sharing linked to how the restaurant performs. Those who help build the evening should also feel the results. The role includes taking care of guests across the whole floor — food, drinks, and games creating atmosphere and making guests feel seen serving quickly, professionally, and warmly even when the pace is high keeping track of your tables, your section, and the overall room recommending food, drinks, games, and the evening's offerings to guests helping at the bar when needed, ideally with simple cocktails carrying the evening from the first guest to the last song We think you are social, quick, and warm comfortable with people and good at reading situations comfortable with high pace, music, energy, and late nights a team player who pitches in where needed curious about food, drinks, service, and experiences eager to help shape something new from the start Experience from restaurants, bars, or cafés is a plus, but the right person is what matters most. If you have bar experience or can mix simple cocktails, that's an extra bonus. We offer a place on the team from day one at Gävle's most exciting new gathering spot profit sharing on top of your salary social, dynamic, and varied work a tight team with high ambitions opportunity to develop in service, bar, and hospitality How to apply Send a few lines about who you are, what you've done before, and why you want to be part of The Grand Social. Cook at The Grand Social, Gävle

COOK — THE GRAND SOCIAL, GÄVLE A real chef who knows their charcuterie, cheeses, and cured meats. If that's you, we want to talk. At Drottninggatan 23, The Grand Social is opening — the city's new living room for long evenings. Darts, shuffleboard, karaoke, a bar you won't want to leave, and an atmosphere that turns into a club as the night goes on. You'll be in the kitchen at the heart of it all — and the food you send out is part of what people will remember. This is real social eating. Dishes meant for the table, made to be shared while the game is on and drinks are flowing. The direction is tapas with a Spanish core — small hot dishes from the plancha and fryer: crispy croquetas, gambas sizzling in garlic oil, padróns with fleur de sel, fried goat cheese with honey. We don't stop at Spain — we love borrowing from other tapas kitchens and experimenting. And alongside the hot food: boards that really stand out — air-dried serrano and chorizo, real cheeses, olives and marinated vegetables, bread and aioli. We're looking for someone who cooks the hot dishes with precision and truly knows their cold craft. You're a chef through and through — but you know the difference between a board arranged with care and one that's just stacked. You know your cheeses, you treat jamón ibérico with respect, and you understand that we eat with our eyes first. That combination — a hot kitchen and genuine knowledge of charcuterie, cheese, and plating — is exactly what we're after. You thrive on pace. When it's packed and tickets are flying in, you get sharper, not stressed. You cook fast without cutting corners on quality, keep your station clean and ready, and take pride in every plate and every board that goes out — even the hundredth one of the night. Here's how we reward that If you're doing great work — with the guests, the food, and waste management — you'll get a piece of the pie back. Beyond your salary, we're introducing profit sharing tied to how well the restaurant performs. We believe those who create the value should feel it in their paycheck. What the role involves Prepare and send out the menu — hot from the plancha and fryer — with consistent, high quality all evening Own the cold craft: charcuterie, cheeses, air-dried meats, boards, and plating Work tight with the rest of the kitchen when things get hectic Contribute to boards and bar snacks as the night winds down Keep tabs on waste, rotation, and ingredient shelf life Who you are A chef with solid experience from a restaurant, bistro, or similar high-tempo setting Preferably with a feel for tapas and Mediterranean food, or eager to dive deeper Comfortable with evening shifts, energy, and high volume Fast, meticulous, and proud of your craft down to the smallest detail A team player who steps up when things heat up We offer profit sharing on top of salary, a place on the kitchen team from day one at Gävle's most exciting new spot, a head chef to learn from and grow with, and fair terms. Feel free to mention whether you're interested in full-time or part-time work

Bartender — The Grand Social, Gävle

Bartender — The Grand Social, Gävle Your station. Your craft. Your energy. At Drottninggatan 23, The Grand Social opens — the city's new living room for long evenings. Darts, shuffleboard, karaoke, games everywhere — but the heart of it all is the bar. This is where the evening begins. A first drink. A pitcher of sangria for the table. A cold beer before shuffleboard. A gin tonic that someone photographs. A cava that bubbles over. And later, when the clock tips past midnight, it's from the bar that the energy grows into a club — with light, sound, music, and a room that moves. Now we're looking for bartenders who want to be here from the start and build that feeling. The direction is the Mediterranean and Spain. Sangria by the pitcher, cava, gin tonics with character, vermouth, Spanish wines, and cocktails that fit long evenings with food, games, and music. But we won't lock ourselves in. We want to create a bar that dares to borrow, test, simplify, refine, and find its own style. This is a role for someone who loves both craft and pace. You should be able to mix beautiful drinks, but also understand that a full house needs flow. Some drinks should be built quickly, others get to take their time. Some guests want to talk, others just want the next round without having to wait. That's where a good bartender makes the difference. You're not just there to pour. You're there to set the rhythm of the evening. What the role involves Mix drinks, serve beer, wine, cava, shots, and non-alcoholic alternatives Work with both craft cocktails and high volume when the house is full Be part of developing drinks, signature offerings, and seasonal ideas Give guests energy, security, and service across the bar Keep the bar clean, neat, fast, and organized throughout the evening Have control over mise en place, prep, garnish, glasses, ice, and your station Help with inventory, restocking, orders, and waste control Work closely with service, kitchen, bar manager, and the rest of the team Be part of carrying the evening from the first drink to the last song Who you are You have experience from a bar, restaurant, club, hotel, or similar environment You like people, pace, music, and late nights You can mix drinks and want to get even better You're fast without becoming sloppy You stay organized even under full pressure You're social, confident, and warm behind the bar You like both craft and high volume You're a team player who helps where needed You want to be part of shaping something new from the start Experience with cocktails is a merit. Experience with high pace is equally important. If you have a feel for Spanish and Mediterranean-inspired drinks, that's an extra plus, but most important is that you have the right energy, the right sense of responsibility, and want to be part of building a really strong bar. How we reward it If you do a good job, it should be noticed. Beyond your salary, we're introducing profit sharing tied to how the restaurant and bar perform. Those who are part of building the evening should also feel the results. For the right person, there's also an opportunity to grow into more responsibility in bar, beverages, team leadership, or operations. We offer A spot in the bar team from the start at Gävle's coolest new gathering place Profit sharing on top of salary The opportunity to influence drinks, work methods, and atmosphere A social, lively, and high-pace job A tight team with high ambitions A bar built on the Mediterranean, Spain, games, music, and late nights Competitive salary based on experience Application Send a few lines about who you are, what you've done before, and why you want to work behind the bar at The Grand Social. BAR CHEF - THE GRAND SOCIAL, GÄVLE

Your Bar. Your Drink List. At Drottninggatan 23, The Grand Social is opening — the city's new living room for long evenings. Darts, shuffleboard, karaoke, games everywhere — but the heart is the bar. A destination bar you don't want to leave, where the evening starts with a drink and ends with the whole room singing. And when the clock strikes midnight, this is where the energy transforms into a club, with lights, sound, and a bar in full motion. You build that bar, lead it, and get an owner's share in it. The direction is the Mediterranean and Spain. Craft cocktails with craftsmanship at the core — but also drinks built for flow, for a packed house that wants their round now. Sangria on pitchers, sparkling cava, gin tonics with character, vermouth and Spanish wines. Drinks that work for a table where people play, laugh, and stay — beautiful enough to photograph, fast enough to keep the pace. We don't stop at Spain either — we like to borrow, experiment, and we're looking for you who wants to drive that development. This is a building role and a leadership role — not a management role. You set the drink list, choose and negotiate with suppliers, shape the bar and routines, recruit and lead your team, and own the bar's finances from the first test drink to full operation — including how the bar transitions from early evening to club mode after midnight. How We Reward It If you do great work — with guests, drinks, waste, and everything else that goes with a profitable bar — you'll get a fair share back. Beyond your salary, we're introducing profit sharing tied to how the bar actually performs. And for the right person, there's an opportunity for co-ownership. We believe those who build the value should also own a piece of it. What the Role Involves Build the bar from scratch: drink list, selection, purchasing, supplier negotiations, equipment, and routines Set and own the beverage experience — Spanish core, open to other influences and your own experiments Full personnel responsibility: recruit, schedule, lead, and develop the bar team Own the bar's finances: drink costs, waste, purchasing, labor costs, and margin Read and understand the numbers — and drive the bar toward profitability Responsibility for inventory, orders, and proper handling of beverages and licenses Run the bar through the entire evening — from the first drink to club mode late at night Who You Are Experienced bar chef, or a bartender ready to take the next step Strong on craft cocktails and high volume in the same breath — Spanish and Mediterranean feel a plus, curious about experimenting Business-minded for real: master waste, purchasing, labor costs, and can analyze numbers so the bar operates at a profit A leader with personnel experience — builds teams, not just mixes drinks Locally rooted in Gävle is a plus — if you already know people and staff in town, that's a merit Wants to build and own something of your own, not inherit someone else's We Offer Opportunity for co-ownership for the right person Profit sharing on top of salary — you earn when the bar performs Your own mandate to shape the bar and drink list from the start A key role from day one at Gävle's most exciting new place Competitive base salary based on experience
