We foster an open and friendly atmosphere where every individual is valued and there are opportunities for personal and professional development. Many of us find satisfaction in knowing that our work contributes to making the world a better place. As a Nordic global leader in sustainable steel, Ovako is not just a workplace—it's a community shaping a better future. While some might call us humble, the truth is we understand that real change starts with us. Join us on this transformation journey, where nature's beauty is just around the corner. Be a catalyst for positive change at Ovako. Ovako in Hofors is now seeking an associate for our Customer Support department. You will become part of our Customer Support team in Hofors, a competent and positive group with strong camaraderie. As a Customer Support associate, your day will consist of contacts with sales companies and customers on a global level, as well as internal contacts such as planning and production. Does this sound like your next step? We warmly welcome your application today—we conduct continuous recruitment! We are very proud of our steel and the responsibility we take to contribute to a more sustainable society! Did you know, for example, that all our steel is produced from recycled scrap? This means our steel production has 80 percent less carbon footprint compared to the global average. Our work is characterized by diversity and our core values: innovative thinking, knowledgeable, and responsible. Do you want to develop with us? Role Description Your primary responsibilities will consist of maintaining contact with customers and sales companies through Ovako's sales process, with a strong focus on ongoing business—from order booking to delivered orders and follow-up and customer dialogue thereafter. You are thus an important link between production/planning and our sales companies and customers, communicating proactively about the customer's order and delivery. You have good computer skills, handle the Office suite well, and have the ability to retrieve and manage data and work in parallel across different systems. You have good knowledge of both Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Since our group language is English and much of our customer communication occurs in English, you need to be comfortable using English on a daily basis. We consider it a merit if you also speak German or French. Since travel is part of the job, we prefer that you have a valid driver's license (category B).
