About the Position We are now seeking an economist to be responsible for accounting and administration for Väghyveltjänst. You report to both the CEO and the Finance Manager for Region East. The position involves responsibility for economic and administrative matters at Väghyveltjänst. This could also be less than full-time, which can be discussed. Main Responsibilities The position is a key role at Väghyveltjänst where your task is to report, analyze, improve, and support the CEO and the entire company on economic and administrative matters. The position includes, among other things: · Ongoing bookkeeping and reconciliations · Accounts payable: managing invoices, payments, and approval workflows · Accounts receivable: creating and sending invoices, reminders, and follow-up · Monthly closing and reporting to CEO and the group · Preparations for annual closing and contact with auditor · Handling of VAT, payroll taxes, and tax declarations · Payroll administration: payroll processing, travel expenses, meal allowances · Budget monitoring and simple financial analyses · General office administration · Contact with suppliers, customers, and authorities · Updating internal registers, agreements, and policy documents · Responsibility for basic HR administration (employment contracts, onboarding, absence reporting) Qualifications and Experience We are seeking someone with solid education and/or experience in economics and administration. To succeed in the role, you have several years of broad knowledge within economics and accounting. You have worked with and are versed in accounting, VAT, and tax regulations as well as basic IFRS. You have previously worked close to the business, are accustomed to and thrive being both operational and strategic. Experience from the construction/contracting industry is a plus. Good familiarity with administrative tasks and structure. We see that you are a strong communicator with good interpersonal skills.
