Verification Engineer - Complete Vehicle Testing

Are you looking for a challenge where you can combine your analytical skills with hands-on work on actual products? Do you enjoy getting out in the vehicle, connecting measurement equipment, and experiencing the product firsthand – rather than just sitting in front of a screen? Then you've come to the right place! Right now, Infotiv is looking for a verification engineer for a long-term assignment with one of our major automotive customers in Gothenburg. As an employee with us, you'll become part of a prestigious and open community where we support and help each other in our daily work. Our philosophy is summed up in the keywords "warm heart and sharp mind." The warm heart means that we put people at the center – with us, you should feel seen, appreciated, and heard. The sharp mind stands for our high technical competence, where we encourage new thinking and personal initiative. We want you to be able to test new things and grow in your professional role, while having the security of a stable employment with good terms and a collective agreement via Almega. The 4 Most Important Responsibility Areas in the Role Here are the areas that define the role and where you'll spend most of your time: Preparation and Complete Vehicle Testing: You prepare test objects and execute tests directly in the vehicle based on established test protocols, with a focus on the system's electrical properties. Software and Hardware Baselines: You update, verify, and ensure that both hardware and software maintain the correct baseline before testing. Troubleshooting and Log Analysis: You analyze test results, dig into logs to find the root cause of deviations, and create and manage error reports. Technical Communication: You package your test results pedagogically and communicate deviations to node owners, Product Owners, and Release Managers to increase understanding of any shortcomings. How Does Your Development Journey Look? Working as a consultant with us means you get the best of both worlds: an exciting assignment at the cutting edge of technology with our customer, combined with the security and community at Infotiv. Onboarding and Support: During your first time, you'll have strong support from both your manager and your colleagues at Infotiv to get into the role in a secure way. We ensure together with the customer that you receive the right introduction to the test environments, tools, and the vehicle's electrical architecture. Ongoing Dialog: We maintain close dialogue and regular check-ins with both you and the customer. We do this to ensure that the assignment matches your expectations, that you're thriving, and that you have the tools you need to succeed in your daily work. Competence Development: In parallel with your assignment, you always have Infotiv's network of skilled engineers behind you. We enjoy sharing knowledge, discussing complex problems, and offering competence development so that you can continue to grow in your professional role. The Team and Work Method You'll become part of a cohesive team with other skilled test and verification engineers. Together, you have a super important mission: to be the crash pad between system development and the end customer. By quality-assuring that the electrical properties and software work perfectly together in the finished vehicle, you lay the foundation for a seamless and safe customer experience on the roads. We work agile with short daily check-ins and a strong focus on knowledge sharing. The team sits close to the customer's physical test vehicles, and we have a great culture where we discuss ideas and help each other when complex errors appear in the logs. Who Are You Today? To thrive and succeed in the role, we believe you have: A university or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or equivalent work experience. Several years of experience from the automotive industry with integration and verification of embedded systems (hardware and software), preferably at the complete vehicle level. A structured and analytical approach – your sense of order and organization is your driving force in test work, and you love finding patterns in log files. Good communication skills where you can explain deviations to different stakeholders in a friendly but effective way. B-class driver's license (EU) with good driving experience (since you'll be testing in actual vehicles) and fluent English in speech and writing. Meritorious: Experience with tools such as CANoe/CANalyser, Matlab/Simulink, scripting in Python/CAPL, or ISTQB certification. Application Does this sound like your next step? Submit your application today as we meet candidates on a rolling basis. We're especially curious about your technical journey, who you are when the workday is over, and what you dream of developing in next! (Please note that as part of our recruitment process, we conduct drug testing and we take a credit check and security clearance when necessary). We hope you want to grow and develop together with us!

Retail Sales Associate for Meat & Charcuterie Shop in Saluhallen – 1 Full-Time & 1 Part-Time Position

About Us Hashelbacken Kött & Chark is located in the heart of Stora Saluhallen in Gothenburg. We sell quality meats and charcuterie from carefully selected producers — from Swedish farm-raised meat to international specialties — and our counter is a craft we take pride in. We're now strengthening our team with one full-time employee with supervisory responsibilities and two part-time staff on a flexible basis. Job Responsibilities As a retail sales associate with us, you work with sales and customer service at the counter, proper handling, storage, and display of food according to our procedures, as well as daily cleaning and ongoing maintenance of the shop, work areas, and equipment. You collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to a fair distribution of tasks. The work demands high standards of hygiene, attention to detail, and organization — we handle perishable products where the cold chain and cleanliness are non-negotiable. For the full-time position, there is expanded responsibility: you are responsible for the shop's daily operations during your shifts — even when the owner is not present. This includes responsibility for the shop's condition and hygiene, active work to prevent and report waste and deviations, compliance with procedures for the cash register, locks, and alarms, staff coordination and task distribution, and ensuring daily instructions from the employer are carried out correctly. The role comes with a special responsibility allowance. What We're Looking For You have: – A service mindset and genuine joy in customer interaction — you see each customer and take your time – Knowledge of or strong interest in meat, charcuterie, and cooking, and the desire to learn our assortment in depth – Sales skills: you can read customers, make recommendations, upsell, and build a loyal clientele – Strong work ethic and self-discipline — you maintain routines even when no one is watching, are punctual and reliable – Willingness to do any part of the job, from counter work to cleaning – For the full-time position: leadership qualities — you take responsibility, make daily decisions, lead by example, and get the team working toward the same goals Experience from manual dishwashing, market halls, restaurants, or food retail is a plus but not required — the right attitude matters most. Swedish language skills are required; additional languages are a plus in a market hall environment. Employment Terms – 1 Position: Full-time, permanent, with expanded responsibility (shop supervisor) – 2 Positions: Part-time on a flexible basis — shifts arranged according to business needs, perfect if you're studying or want flexible extra work – Working hours: Daytime, weekdays and Saturdays (during market hall hours) – Salary: By agreement, vacation pay according to law – Start date: By agreement How to Apply Send your CV and a few lines about yourself to [email protected]. Mark your application "Full-Time" or "Part-Time". Selection is ongoing — don't delay your application.

Strong research and attractive programs attract researchers and students from around the world. With new knowledge and new perspectives, the University of Gothenburg contributes to a better future. The Department of Pedagogy and Special Education (IPS) is one of four departments at the Faculty of Education. For information about the Department of Pedagogy and Special Education: https://www.gu.se/pedagogik-specialpedagogik For the full job posting and application: University of Gothenburg | One or More Doctoral Positions in Pedagogy, Pedagogical Work, or Subject Didactics with Focus Research Environments Within IPS, there are several strong research environments that contribute to increased dynamics between research, education, and collaboration with society. These environments include FUR, LUBS, PRIS, SKUL, KRIT, POP, and FYRK, each with its unique focus but all sharing a common commitment to pedagogical issues. https://www.gu.se/pedagogik-specialpedagogik/forskningsmiljoer. The doctoral position will be linked to the department's research environments and preferably to ongoing research projects and commissioned research. The research environment FUR focuses on classical pedagogical issues within three main areas: individual prerequisites for education, the organization and resources of education, and the outcomes of education at both individual and system levels. LUBS, with its focus on learning, teaching, and assessment in languages, works to integrate these aspects into both internal and external activities. This includes teacher education and collaboration with society outside academia. PRIS aims to bring together special education issues with aspects of school development and leadership. The research environment SKUL concentrates on school development and leadership, with particular focus on what teachers and school leaders do to promote children's and students' development and learning. It also addresses how preschools and schools handle change and improvement processes. KRIT addresses research questions related to power, subjectivity, and resistance within educational institutions, grounded in a critical educational sociology tradition. This environment uses methods such as critical ethnography, policy studies, and narrative analysis to explore its themes. POP studies the political aspects of pedagogical phenomena, connected to traditions within curriculum theory, comparative pedagogy, and analyses of pedagogical processes and systems. FYRK is a relatively newly established research environment that focuses on important research questions within vocational education. The Current Doctoral Project At the Department of Pedagogy and Special Education, University of Gothenburg, national tests in social studies (grade 9) and English are being developed, as well as assessment support in modern languages. The work with national tests in social studies is in an expansive and dynamic phase where scientific grounding is particularly important. The doctoral student will have the opportunity to be included in the entire test development process—from task design, piloting and collaboration with teachers, to analysis and presentation of test data and collaboration with other social science subjects and the Swedish National Agency for Education (Skolverket). This means that the current doctoral project may include substantive and subject-related aspects as well as analytical aspects. An important part involves ensuring that different groups of students have equal opportunities to demonstrate their knowledge, so accessibility may also be a central aspect (for example, functional variations, gender, and national background) in the doctoral project. Furthermore, validity and reliability aspects of the test may be of central importance in the doctoral project. Eligibility and Qualifications Those admitted to doctoral education receive a four-year doctoral position at the department. To be admitted to doctoral education, according to the Swedish Higher Education Ordinance, Chapter 7, Section 35, the applicant must meet the requirements for general and specific eligibility and be assessed to have the ability otherwise needed to benefit from the education. General eligibility is held, according to Chapter 7, Section 39 of the Higher Education Ordinance, by those who have completed an advanced-level degree or fulfilled course requirements of at least 240 credits, of which at least 60 credits are at advanced level.
