The 4 most important areas of responsibility in the role Here are the areas that define the role and where you'll spend most of your time: Preparation and testing of vehicle software, either at the integration level or subsystem level. This involves preparing test objects and executing tests directly in the vehicle, in bench rigs or in HIL/VIL environments based on established test protocols, with a focus on the system's electrical characteristics. Software and hardware baselines: You update, verify and ensure that both hardware and software maintain the correct baseline before testing. Troubleshooting and log analysis: You analyze test results, dig into logs to find the root cause of deviations, and create and manage error reports. Technical communication: You package your test results pedagogically and communicate deviations to node owners, Product Owners and Release Managers to increase understanding of any shortcomings. Competence development: Alongside your assignment, you always have Infotiv's network of skilled engineers at your back. The team and way of working You'll become part of a cohesive team with other skilled test and verification engineers. Together you have a super important mission: to be the airbag between system development and the end customer. By ensuring that the electrical characteristics and software work perfectly together in the finished vehicle, you're laying the foundation for a seamless and safe customer experience on the roads. We work agile with short daily check-ins and a strong focus on knowledge sharing. The team sits close to the customer's physical test vehicles, and we have a nice culture where we brainstorm ideas and help each other when complex bugs show up in the logs. Who are you today? For you to enjoy and succeed in this role, we believe you have: A degree or master's degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics, computer science or equivalent education We're looking for you who recently graduated, but ideally have experience from previous jobs/summer jobs in the automotive industry or have worked on various vehicle types at home. A structured and analytical way of working – your sense of order and organization is your driving force in testing work, and you love finding patterns in log files. Good communication skills where you can explain deviations in a friendly but efficient way to different stakeholders. B-class driver's license (EU) with good driving experience Fluent Swedish and English in speech and writing. Meritorious: Experience with tools such as CANoe/CANalyser, Matlab/Simulink, scripting in Python/CAPL or ISTQB certification. Application Does this sound like your next step?
