About the role and your responsibilities School social teams offer early, preventive, and coordinated interventions to strengthen students' attendance, participation, and ability to take part in teaching. The interventions are directed towards secondary school students. As a family counselor in the school social team, you are part of the Early Support unit within Child, Youth and Family Support at the Employment and Social Services Administration, while simultaneously being an integrated part of the school's operations and working in close collaboration with student health services, sociopedagogues, and other school staff. At Early Support, you have colleagues with similar assignments and access to professional support and experience exchange. Much of the work will be carried out at Nyvångsskolan, which is located in Dalby. The assignments are guided by students' needs, and therefore we want you to have solid knowledge of social services' mission and broad experience in social work as well as knowledge of school and student health issues.
