Alfa Laval in Lund is Seeking a Maintenance Mechanic

What does the job as a maintenance mechanic entail? In this role, you will work as a mechanic, where you have an important role in preventing and ensuring that maintenance and operational safety requirements for our machines are met. It will require you to put internal customers first. You will be part of a team with 23 competent employees working in the areas of mechanics, electrical/automation, and working in large, open, and orderly facilities in Lund. Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost are guiding principles within our production system ALPS and form the foundation on which our production is built. In ALPS, you participate in important improvement work, 5S, and standardized working methods. It is therefore of utmost importance that you are interested in developing both yourself and our operations. This is a permanent position and you will work a 2-shift schedule, where on-call duty may occur at night and weekends. Lernia only handles the recruitment process. More specifically, you will work with: • Preventive maintenance and improvements on existing production equipment. • Troubleshooting machines in case of acute issues. • Ordering spare parts. • Contacting subcontractors. • Solving tasks that arise and reporting in maintenance systems. Who are we looking for? As a person, you are a team player; working in a group is natural for you, and you have the ability to adapt for the team's benefit. You are not afraid to drive your own projects to solve a task. You are humble, responsible, thorough, customer-focused, and thrive in an environment with many points of contact. We would like to see that you have: • Secondary education with a focus on mechanics/hydraulics or otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge as a maintenance technician. • Knowledge of machine processing such as turning, milling, drilling.
