What does the job as a maintenance mechanic entail? In the role, you will work as a mechanic, where you play an important role in preventing and ensuring that maintenance and operational safety requirements for our machines are met. It will require you to put internal customers first. You will be part of a team of 23 competent employees working in the areas of mechanics, electrical/automation, and work in large, open, and well-organized facilities in Lund. Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost are guiding principles within our production system ALPS and form the foundation our production is built on. In ALPS, you participate in important improvement work, 5S, and standardized working methods. For this reason, it is of the utmost importance that you are interested in developing both yourself and our operations. The position is a permanent employment and you will work a 2-shift variant, where standby duties may occur on nights and weekends. Lernia handles only the recruitment process. More specifically, you will work with: Preventive maintenance and improvements to existing production equipment. Troubleshooting on machines for urgent matters. Ordering spare parts. Contacting subcontractors. Solving tasks that arise and reporting in the maintenance systems. Who are we looking for? As a person, you are a team player; it is natural for you to work in groups and you have the ability to adapt for the group's benefit. You are not afraid to drive your own projects to solve a task. You are humble, responsible, thorough, customer-focused, and thrive in an environment with many contact points. We would like to see that you have: Upper secondary education with a focus on mechanics/hydraulics or otherwise acquired equivalent knowledge as a maintenance technician. Knowledge of machine processing such as turning, milling, drilling. If you have experience in welding and PLC, this is a merit. Previous corresponding experience from previous jobs/interest.
