Clinical assessment at a distance and digital care meetings are developing rapidly and are an important part of ensuring good, accessible, and nearby care in this area. The health station model, which is an important starting point for proximity-based care, characterizes both the mindset and working methods in the service's daily operations. Our health stations function as well-equipped mini-hospitals with access to acute care beds, ambulance services, and laboratory facilities. Our telemedicine usage is well developed. Here work occupational therapists, midwives, physiotherapists, social workers, physicians, psychologists, secretaries, nurses, and nursing assistants. We provide acute care as well as regular health center work and have a well-developed collaboration between all professional groups and with municipalities. Primary care in rural areas is in many ways a challenge and places great demands on collaboration and the ability to leverage the resources and opportunities available. Vilhelmina, Dorotea, and Åsele health stations are part of the same base unit and are located in southern Lapland, five miles apart. The nearest hospital is Lycksele, where an ambulance helicopter is stationed. These three health stations form a base unit with an operations manager who, together with four department managers, a medical director, and a medically responsible leader, will form a joint management group. Vilhelmina Municipality, LSS Care is seeking a personal assistant for a wonderfully happy child who brings joy to everyone around them. The child lives with mom, dad, an older sister (8 years old) and a younger sister (1 year old). The child attends school at Volgsjö with allocated resources, but has a personal assistant with them around the clock. This position is permanent, but a probationary period may be applied. The position is 80% full-time. The child's start in life was difficult and today has a brain injury affecting voluntary motor function. The child has significant vision impairment and limited speech. The child's intellectual level corresponds to that of a one-year-old. The child enjoys sitting in someone's lap, bathing, spending time with family, playing with sisters, animals, fast-moving motors and good food. Following along in a stroller on a walk is wonderful and the child becomes happy from music and singing.
