Description We are seeking, subject to required approvals, two personal assistants. One position is a permanent employment at 75%, with probationary employment possibly to be applied. The other is a temporary assignment covering for an employee on parental leave at 74%. Work is performed during day, evening, and weekend hours. Job Duties We are seeking personal assistants for an elderly woman who uses a wheelchair. You will work in the home where the woman lives. You will also provide support during activities outside the home. You should support, encourage, and be engaged in a positive manner during the woman's daily life. Job duties include personal care, daily routines, exercise, etc. Qualifications We prefer that you have education as a personal assistant, nursing assistant, childcare worker, or other relevant training. Great importance is placed on your personal qualities. You should be humble, attentive, and flexible in your approach. A driver's license (category B) is required.
